It pained Soomi to ignore her one and only like that,it too was hard on her part but what was the lad to do?

Her head told her it was more than enough

It has been probably 12 plus years since Mingyu was confusing her and it was more than enough for her

She knew she had to do this though she had loved him so much,she still does so deeply and probably will for the rest of her life

But well,its time to let go of that dream

'Hey sulky chicken' Ten teases,it was a nickname he came up for her and it suited her greatly

'What do you want Rooster-Phon?' It was Soomi's choice of nickname for him and it suited him just as well

'Want to go grab lunch?'

Soomi purses her lips and shake her head 'Not really'

Ten sits next to her pouting 'Yah sulky chicken,you promise to go with me wherever I want in exchange of an english lesson'

Soomi rolls her eyes 'You can't use that against me Rooster-Phon,its not fair.Besides, I don't want to leave the classroom'

'You'll have to come face to face with him eventually.He's your brother's best friend you can't ignore him forever so instead you'll learn how to successfully ignore him' he says,wriggling his brows

Soomi gives him a glare 'Urg I hate you'

Ten laughed as he grab her by the hand and drags her towards the cafeteria 'You know you love me Sulky chicken~'

The duo made it to the cafeteria and were in line.Soomi was cautiously looking around,worried that she might spot him

All in the while wanting so badly to see him

Ten was busy choosing his favourite,while Soomi was still looking around.

No sign of him,should she be happy or worried?

'Yah chicken' she turned her attention to the boy in front of her

'What do you want to eat?' It was then that she realised it was already her turn to choose,everyone was staring at her,some rather impatiently

She was all red with embarrassment so she quickly chose whatever came to mind.

The duo went to a nearby seat in the corner.

'Hey Sulky chicken' '

'Mm?' She replied,quietly munching on her food

'How's the ignoring thing going?'

'Great I think,its so hard though'

The boy chucked 'Its supposed to be hard,if you can ignore him easily then it means you don't really love him'

'Ohhhh' Soomi nods,completely baffled 'Wow you are smart Rooster-Phon'

They were eating and chatting when they noticed a group of girls next to them,talking about none other than Mingyu.

After further inspection,Soomi knew they were the girls from the basketball court

Curiosity got the better of her and she scoot closer 'Excuse me but were you talking about Kim Mingyu?' She nonchalantly asks,with a new found courage

'Yes,do you want to know about him?' That Tzuyu girl says,smiling 'I'll be more than glad to tell you about him'

Soomi nods and moved closer 'Everyone loves Kim Mingyu,he's amazing,he's talented,he's smart and he cooks omg dreamy!' She chimes

Woah,and we thought Soomi was love sick

'But I think he has a girlfriend,'

'Girlfriend?' The girl nods then turns to the direction where Mingyu and his friends were sitting

When did they come in?she didn't see them when they she looked around

'The boy next to him is Jungkook from the engineering department,he's a 3rd year student,they all are.That one's also super talented plus his visuals are out of this world.The boy next to Jungkook is Yugeom,my cousin Mark's friend so I know him.He's a complete dork,he's also in the engineering department.'

Soomi scanned them,so that annoying brick's name was Yugeom,interesting

'Then the girl?'

'Oh that's Jung Eunha,she and Mingyu are in the on the architect department.That's the girl we think is his girlfriend.You see,they looked so cute together and people ship them alot and I'm starting to think they're dating too'

Soomi frowns,no they can't be

Looking at them,she could see why people shipped them so hard.Their visuals matched,like they were made for each other and their height difference was so adorable

Sheesh,you shouldn't be thinking about that Soomi

'Wait a minute,' one of Tzuyu's friends say,looking at Soomi 'Aren't you Choi Seungcheol's sister?'

'Yes how did you-'

'That means you're close with Mingyu' the girl says again 'I'm Dahyun by the way,this is Tzuyu and Chaeyoung' she extending a hand

Soomi took it 'Choi Soomi and this is Chittaphon Lee,Ten if you will'

They all exchanged pleasantries

Then continued chatting about this and that until Ten moved closer and draped his arm around Soomi's shoulder

Soomi looked at him and raised a brow,to which the boy simply smiled at her

She shrugged it off,then turn her attention back to the girls all the while stealing a little glance at her someone

Who was apparently glaring straight at her direction
