Soomi walks slowly,taking her sweet time with deep thoughts

She was confused,she was annoyed but loved how he was acting.

It was clear that her contact with another male was bothering him

Was it perhaps,jealousy?mayhaps his feelings for her?

Don't be stupid,he's probably just being over protective

But then again,there were signs and clues everywhere

It has been a few weeks since the field trip and she had been ignoring him again and again

His actions were so hard to decipher,she just couldn't trust her gut instinct anymore

The air was cool and crisp despite it being the middle of summer,the streets were deserted since she deliberately went home late after hanging out with Ten for a good moment and wanted to go see Chan after but he fortunately wasn't home so she circled around the park and now was just a few blocks away from home

She already told her brother she was going to be a bit late but he won't be home anyway so time doesn't matter that much for now

Therefore,she was taking her sweet time to just think things through

She was walking slowly,too lost in thought to notice someone following her

As she was progressing,someone on the side walk starts walking up to her

'Hey pretty lady' he slurred,clearly drunk,he barely managed to stand up straight

Soomi frowned at him and continued walking,a bit faster this time

But the man called out,running after her.

Soomi,panicked and terrified,ran as fast as she could but another guy got hold of her

'Why are you running pretty lady?' He too slurred but with a creepy grin 'You think we're bad guys?'

Soomi's body shook in fear,she was unable to form words.She was so terrified she froze

'We just want to be friends with you girl' the other guy slurs again,checking her out

Soomi was disgusted and on the verge of tears 'I-I have to get home now' she stuttered 'Please,let me go'

'Now why would we do that?' He grins creepily,pulling her close to him 'You're so beautiful,' he murmured,tracing invisible lines on her face 'Yah,yah,don't cry.We won't do anything to you'

Soomi said her prayers,asking God,or anyone out there to help or at least send help

She was too young to die,she hadn't fulfill her life long dreams and she wanted to confess before she died

'Let her go' she heard a voice,is it real?could it really be-

She opened her eyes to see it was indeed him

She was over the moon,she start to sob out of joy

The man holding her captive scoffed 'And what if we don't?'

Mingyu glared at the men 'Then you'll die'

Soomi sobs as she dabs the anticeptic on her Oppa's busted lip.The three had a huge fight,the drunk one was out cold and Mingyu and the creep fought it out

The creep was injured badly while Mingyu only had the busted lip but it was enough to break Soomi's heart.

She felt really guilty since it had happened because of her

On the other hand though,she was ecstatic that he came to her rescue

She had always dreamt about him rescuing her from such things but now that it became a dream come true,it wasn't as fun as she had thought

Mingyu was staring at her all the while she was cleaning his wounds.

He reached out to dry her tears 'Soomi' he calls out

She hummed,still sobbing

'Don't cry' he murmured,cupping her face,which only made Soomi cry more

He pulled her close and hugged her tight,drawing circles on her back to calm her down

'I'm sorry Oppa' Soomi murmurs 'I'm sorry this is my fault'

Mingyu then cupped her face 'Don't say that, I would gladly come to your rescue anytime'

Soomi sobs once more 'Really?'

Mingyu smiled with a nod

'Indeed,want to know why?'

'Yes'

'Because I like you'

Soomi widened her eyes,was she hearing correctly?was it her mind playing tricks on her?

'You-you do?'

Mingyu nods then leans in to kiss her

FREAKING FINALLY!!!!!!!!

Soomi's chest heaved up and down,butterflies danced gracefully and her toes curled,she loved that feeling

'You're not playing with me are you?' Soomi pouts,staring at him with pleading eyes

Mingyu chuckles,holder her closer than before 'Yes,I'm sorry I couldn't tell you.I know you're frustrated with the way I've been acting and I'm sorry. I really like you but I'm afraid of your brother'

Soomi laughed 'So am I'

Mingyu laced her fingers through his 'Now I finally have the courage to tell you that'

Then they kiss again
