She lay lifeless on her cold living room floor. And yes, she's dead. The assailant smiled satisfactorily over her dead body. The murder weapon? A gun with the serial filed off. She wasn't shot though, the gun was just used to hit her head several times till she bled. Using her blood, the killer spelt out a phrase.
Remembering someone might come to the house, the killer cleaned up all traces of DNA and evidence then left the house. The killer put the gun in the neighbour's trash with the gloves. Police sirens being heard from a distance.
To make the case more difficult, the only eye-witness was a 75 year old man with astigmatism and conveniently forgot to wear his glasses. His statement was, "Well, I wasn't with my glasses but I'm pretty sure it was a woman I saw leaving the house." Investigator Thea asked," Can you describe the suspect?"
"I guess she was tall with long hair"
"Any other thing that can help us identify her? Colour if hair? Skin? Did she talk or...?"
"Well, i heard whistling but I'm not sure it was her."
Investigator Thea sighed and walked over to the two people she met at the crime scene.
