" good morning sultanum " dilara spoke as she opened the curtains of my room letting the sun in

" what a weather " i said getting up from my bed  as the two maids helped me wash off my face , after i wipped it carefully i walked towards my terrace

" Sultanum " dilara shook me off the beautiful view handing me a box

" who is it from " i looked at the box before eyeing her

" Who could it be from other than our groom " i chuckled taking the box from her hands

I liked these small gestures , he proved me wrong and made me feel like what i decided wasn't a mistake at all .

I opened the box and the first thing i saw was a necklace , i put it in between my fingers and stared at it . It had beautiful pieces of diamond around and i could only stared at in in awe ,it was so beautiful that i couldn't take my eyes off it .

" How beautiful " i whispered to myself getting dilara's attention who was watering the plants

" i want to wear this today " i said putting it back on the box .

" Of course sultanum your dresses are all on the bed " i nodded with a little smile before going back to my room .

" prepare the red one " i said turning around as the three other maids put three different crowns infront of me

" Humasah sultan is arriving to the palace soon " my face immediately brightened up after hearing the news

Humasah is my aunt and even when my late father was alive she didn't come very much , between all of my aunts she was my favorite  .

After some minutes of getting dressed i smiled to myself in the mirror knowing that i was finally ready .

" Now let me just put this " dilara said placing mehmed pasha's necklace around my neck . It shined bright and that made it even special

" Let's go " i grabbed my dress carefully as the maids opened the door for us to walk away .

I walked towards Kosem sultan's wing and it immediately opened to me , i walked in and stared at my siblings all alligned .

Gevherhan smiled before making space between her and kasim so i can get in between since i was the oldest one after her

" Your necklace is beautiful " gevherhan whispered so only me can hear

" It was a gift " i smiled " from mehmed pasha " she giggled after touching it lightly

" Good to hear that you finally decided to change your opinion " she smiled turning around as the door opened to reveal our aunt humasah .

Everyone bowed to her and i did too but my gaze didn't move away from her even a little bit .

" Welcome sultanum it is great to have you in the palace after all these years " kosem sultan smiled at her while my aunt gave her a faint smile

From what i remember she didn't have a good relationship with her at all .

" Gevherhan my beautiful i miss you " she hugged my sister tightly before placing a tap on her shoulder

" You just brightened up the palace " gevherhan gave her one of her beautiful smiles

My aunt nodded before walking towards me , i smiled as i stared at her

" What is this beauty neslihan " she hugged me while patting my back

" I have missed you a lot " i said shyly making her look at me

" you all grew up very fast " she said looking at all of my siblings .

After she hugged kasim and beyazid she looked at atike and ibrahim . She never saw them before as she was absent for a very long time that she couldn't recoginze them

" They all would make us jealous for seeing you , we are glad to see you for the first time " atike looked at ibrahim before he nodded

" it is all my pleasure , i have the most beautiful nieces and nephews ever " my aunt flashed her smile again

" sultanum you might be tired from all the road your room is all ready " kosem sultan spoke gaining our attenion

" I will go see his majesty first " before she could turn around and go atike stopped her

" Sultanum i wish to have a dinner tonight with you " my aunt smiled to her

" Of course " she nodded one last time before leaving .

We watched her leave and as i wanted to step out too kosem sultan spoke to me

" Neslihan " i turned around to face her and she had the amused look on her face

" Me and Murad already settled the wedding date for next month " i knew what she was up to , since mehmed pasha was in her disposition she knew that i wouldn't gain anything from it

" whatever you see right " i smirked before leaving the room followed by beyazid

" Sister , what are we going to gain from this marriage " beyazid's words made me turn around to look at him

" I will do whatever it takes to get mehmed pasha on our side " beyazid's face immediately changed as he grew worried .

" let's go to my room and talk i don't trust anyone in this area " i said as we walked away from kosem sultan's room .

As we arrived to my room i dismissed everyone from it .

" take a seat " i sat down followed by beyazid .

" This marriage will benefit us a lot , i don't care  whether i'll be happy or not . I will do anything to achieve what we want " his eyes narrowed

" I love murad so much i cannot think about the throne never just get that idea out of your head " he looked away annoyed

" but does he love you ? No and the proof is his decision yesterday . If ahmed ascends the throne after murad be sure that neither you or kasim or ibrahim will live " i grabbed his hand tightly

" murad is so unexcpected i am afraid i'll wake up someday and not find you " my voice cracked at the end making him hug me

" don't ever think like this please " he tried to put on a relaxed expression on his face but he failed

" In the process i'll make sure nothing will happen to you or my brothers fine "
