-"please don't be a bystander."

Third Person.

Y/n thought wrong about Nayeon. Her face tells different about her attitude. Y/n kept distance to the others from that day on.

Her ego is hurt. She would accept the fact that she's no good but she would never accept the fact that Nayeon compared her from his brother.

Y/n is on her room studying all day long. It's the only thing she can do because she doesn't want to interact with them. She thinks people are tiring and she hates them.

"Don't compare me to a bystander." Y/n mumbled, remembering what happened in the past and what Nayeon just said.

Meanwhile, the girls gathered on Nayeon's room. Talking about stuffs and laughing until they reached the topic that they went all silent.

"Come to think of it, why out of all people it's Y/n?" Chaeyoung asked and no one wants to talk.

"She's avoiding us." Mina said and looked down. They honestly want to be friends with Y/n, well most of them want to-the people who doesn't know about the past.

"I got an idea! Let's barge in!" Sana shouted and she got out first. The others peeked and when Y/n let Sana enter, they came out and went inside as well-except for Nayeon and Jeongyeon.

"Don't distance yourself ever again Y/n-ah. Just tell us when we did something wrong and we'll talk." Sana said teary-eyed while hugging Y/n. She hugged back, comforting the latter. Tzuyu had to pull Sana and unconsciously intertwined their hands.

For Sana, it's normal. And for Tzuyu, she didn't noticed it. The truth is, Tzuyu likes her so much, so much that she acts different to conceal it. She's afraid she will be rejected and the society isn't okay with that.

Specially because the 10 of them means everything to this school. They did not got in to the Special Section for no reason at all.

Whilst talking and playing, Y/n got a call from her mother and she went out to answer it. She's congratulating her, saying that she's proud and all but she never asked if she's okay or how is her day going.

But despite of that, Y/n smiled a little, not that genuine and not forced. Her smile disappeared once her mother mentioned about texting her dad.

Y/n agreed and her mom ended the call. She sighed as she texted her dad. The others thought Y/n is taking so long so they went out to see Y/n.

"Hey Y/n! What are you doing?" Momo asked.

"I just texted my dad that I got in." She smiled and turned off her phone and slipped it right to her pocket.

"Oh you didn't told him sooner?" Momo asked again.

"We don't talk." Y/n maintained her smile but her eyes aren't happy.

"Don't worry, some people aren't good at expressing and that includes your dad." Sana smiles reassuringly to Y/n.

"I'm not sure about that." She mumbled and the others heard inaudible things coming from her mouth so they asked to repeat it.

"Ah! What I'm saying is that, maybe he's just tired from arranging the remembrance event of my late sister that happened when I got in." Y/n lied.

"You have a sister?" Tzuyu asked as Sana elbowed her. She doesn't know if she's jealous or if she doesn't want to bring up about Y/n's sister.

Y/n nodded and Dahyun remembered exactly how Y/n cried for it and how he hated her brother. Her smile disappeared and her aura becomes dark.

The others went back to their respective rooms except for Dahyun. She went to Nayeon's room and had a talk, just the two of them because Jeongyeon already headed back. A very short talk just like her height.

"Whatever you said to Y/n, don't ever say it again unnie. If you have nothing to say but negative one's, just don't talk to her. You're not helping at all, bystander." She said.

"What did you say?" Nayeon asked in a tone like she's offended.

"It's true though. You're friends before with Jisoo-unnie right? She texted you, Y/n's dad and Taehyung for help but you didn't showed up." Dahyun added.

"Get out." Those are the only words that came out from Nayeon's mouth. After that, she heard a slam on the door.
