I UPLOADED THE FIRST CHAPTER TODAY OH MY GOD I'M EXCITED! Anyways, this was the bonus chapter I decided I'd add last minute. At this point, this story is taking up all of my free college periods XD On with the story...

Caroline pushed open the gate to the Salvatore crypt and stepped inside, bouquet of roses in her hand. She looked around a little, then walked over to her husband's headstone. "Hey, Stefan." She said quietly as she swapped out the now dead flowers Elena had brought a couple of weeks ago for her fresh ones. "Thought I might pay you a little visit. I've not been down in a while and there is a lot happening with your brother at the moment." Caroline sighed as she sat on the bench opposite Stefan's grave.

"I'm sure he's been down here already, and I know Elena has, but here's the update... fresh from the mouth of one Bonnie Bennett." Caroline took a deep breath. "Damon does miss being a vampire. Elena made Bonnie promise not to tell but we're best friends, she couldn't help it. Anyways, Damon misses being a vampire and he's got Bonnie looking for a way to potentially reverse the effects of the Cure." She sighed again, trying to imagine Stefan's reaction.

"What are you gonna do when Damon takes the Cure?" Stefan shrugged, running his hands through her hair. They were laying in bed one night, Stefan lying on his back with Caroline's head resting on his chest. "I don't know." He said lowly. "I'll miss him when he dies but I can't take it with him, otherwise I'd be leaving you." Caroline smiled. She'd already decided there was no way in hell she was taking the Cure. "You can take it if you want, you know." Stefan stopped stroking her hair to look down at her.

"What?" He gasped, appalled that she could think he was okay with leaving her behind after he dies. "Stefan you and Damon have been brothers for over a hundred and seventy years. And as much as you may have hated each other a while ago, anyone could see you loved each other the whole time. Especially now, a blind man can see you two have gotten closer." Stefan chuckled and smiled at his girlfriend. "Yeah. Yeah, I guess so." Caroline kissed his chin softly and gave him a small smile. "So, if you wanna take it for Damon, then take it. I'll be alright, I'll still have... Enzo, I guess." Stefan and Caroline laughed then, both imagining the blonde being stuck with the Brit for eternity.

Caroline blinked, bringing herself back to the present. "Would you have done it, Stefan? Would you have taken the Cure for Damon?" She looked sadly at the headstone and felt tears welling up in her eyes, but she blinked them back. "He misses you, you know. Cries every year on your anniversary and birthday. He's worried doing this will be a waste of the life you gave him, that he'd be throwing away the reason you d... died in the first place." This time, Caroline couldn't stop the tear that leaked out of her left eye.

"We need you here, Stefan." She wept. "We need you to be the hero and come up with some ridiculous yet entirely possible way around the Cure." As she spoke, tears flowed freely down her face. "We need you here to be Damon's brother and support him, we need you to be Elena's best friend and give her ways to help Damon and we need you... I need you here, Stefan. I need you to be with me and... God, I just miss you." With that, she broke down. She put her face in her hands and cried as though Stefan had only just passed.

It took a while, but eventually Caroline managed to stem the flow of tears and control her emotions. "I miss you, Stefan." She whispered. "We all do." She was silent for a few minutes, reading and re-reading the writing on the grave as though if she read it enough times, Stefan would come back. "Damon and Elena are at the lake house, getting away from all this and, I mean, who can blame them?" She got to her feet and started pacing back and forth in front of the headstone.

"Damon took the Cure for Elena so that they could live a normal life." She said, and as she did so her voice dramatically increased in volume. "And now, Damon wants to go back to being a vampire, despite promising Elena a human life together. Damon obviously feels terrible, Elena confused and probably guilty knowing her. Damon's given this some serious thought, so he knows what he wants, I think he's just holding back on how much he's actually telling Elena. I don't even think he's told Alaric, it's bothering him that much. I think he's scared of what people might think of him for once, except he's keeping it from the wrong people." Caroline stopped pacing and lowered her voice to just above a whisper.
