THE NEW ROOM WAS FULL OF DIFFERENT FURNITURE ITEMS. That included an arcade game. Okay, so not much else was different. Alex and Darwin were entertaining themselves with it, while Teddy stood beside Alex watching them (and laughing at their failures). The rest of the group sat on the couches.

"Jesus man, you are killing me." Darwin said.

"Don't beat yourself up." Alex replied. "I've got a lot of spare time."

"That is so sad." Teddy commented, chuckling a bit. Alex huffed but didn't glance his way, instead keeping his focus on the game.

Two CIA agents walked by the window, and upon seeing who was in the room, decided to be assholes. "Oh, I didn't know the circus was in town." One of them said.

Teddy heard this and left Alex's side to go nicely (ha, not!) tell them to piss off.

"Hey, come on, honey. Give us a little..." The agent imitated wings flapping as he looked in Angel's direction. "No?" He turned to Hank next. "Come on, let's see the foot." Hank stood up, and the man took this as a sign he would actually respond to him. "There it is. Come on, Big Foot, let's go." He started complaining when Hank closed the curtains.

"Anyone else wanna come beat them up with me?" Teddy ask, his fists clenched at his side.

"Let's not do that." Sean said, gesturing for him to sit down. The brunette did so, although reluctant.

"Hey, they're just guys being stupid." Raven said to the other female.

"Guys being stupid I can handle. Okay? I've handled that my whole life. But I'd rather a bunch of guys stare at me with my clothes off than the way these ones stare at me." Angel replied.

Raven nodded in understanding. "At us."

"If that's how you feel..." Teddy stood up, ready to go attack them. "Be back in a second." Before anyone could stop him, he ran out of the room. He could hear their protests, telling him it wasn't worth it, but he didn't care. People had no right treating his new friends, or anyone, that way. That sort of thing could lead to truly horrible decisions. He was no stranger to that outcome, and he was not about to let it happen again.

"Hey!" He called out to the two men. They turned around, and smirked upon realizing it was one of the 'freaks'.

"Ooh, looking for trouble, are we?" The taller one of the two teased.

Teddy cracked his knuckles. "You did that yourself." He all but growled, walking until he was right in front of him. Without warning, he swung his arm and punched the man in the nose. The man stumbled back, holding his definitely broken nose. He looked at the boy in shock. He nudged his companion and nodded. This was bound to end up in a fight. Just what Teddy had been looking for.

Both of them charged at the boy, who was in fact a little rusty after not fighting anything but monsters in the past few years. He hadn't really fought or spared in a long time, ever since the war, when his friends died. The taller one went for a punch, but Teddy ducked. He shorter one threw a kick, which almost hit him, but the boy was too fast. They did this for awhile longer, exchanging petty hits, both parties getting affected. Then something unexpected happened. Screams could be heard in the distance. The three stopped fighting, all suddenly growing concerned.

A red smoke appeared right beside them, and there a man who looked an awful lot like a demon appeared. He grabbed the shorter man, and disappeared again. The man was soon back, without the agent. He grabbed the taller man, just as the other agent's body fell to the floor. Teddy jumped back in shock, his eyes wide as saucers. This shouldn't be happening. He did not know that people would be getting killed.

The demon-man returned, and grabbed Teddy this time. The two teleported into the air, but before Teddy could suffer the same fate as the CIA agents, he opened his mouth and put as much power into his words as he could. "You don't want to kill me." He said, panicked. He was not use to being at such heights.

The charmspeak worked, which surprised Teddy a bit since this man seemed like the type to be able to resist that. It must've been the amount of emotion he put into his words. Whatever it was, he was grateful. The man brought Teddy back on the ground safe, but unfortunately he was not safe yet. Not wanting the spell to wear off, Teddy manipulated his emotions, just enough to keep him from death.

The man was not done with the rest of the CIA, however. He teleported onto the roof, dropped Teddy there, and left again. While it wasn't much of a fall, Teddy was sure he would bruise, if not from the tumble, then his earlier fight. On the bright side, his friends wouldn't have to deal with those two assholes anymore. There was, however, the issue of all the dead people.

As he looked around, the brunette found that there were several bodies on the roof. He could hear gunshots righting out around him. He cursed. He felt useless, powerless to help. Just as he got to his feet, there was an explosion, which caused the building beneath him to shake. On one side, he could see a tornado, and definitely not a natural one. This wouldn't end well.
