Chapter 3: What The Hell Icyhot

*****Todoroki's pov*****

It's been three months since the day Hawks gave me his number. We've started to get really close. So close actually, that we have been sneaking around behind my father's back and going to dinner and movies.

Im walking back into the school, while texting Hawks.

"Can we do dinner tonight?" Hawks asks, through texts.

"I dont think I can, my father has guest coming over so I have to be there." I text back.

"Darn..." he messages back. "Lunch?"

"I can do lunch." I reply.

"Cool. I'll see you then." He replies.

I go to put my phone into my pocket but Bakugo comes walking by and snatches it.

"What are you smirking at icyhot?" He growls and starts looking through mine and Hawks messages. "Wait!" He shouts and starts glaring at my phone.

"Bakugo, give it back." I demand.

"What the hell icyhot!" He shouts.

"Shut up!" I shout, and snatch my phone.

"Why are you talking to pro hero, Hawks, that way?!" He demands to know.

"None of your business." I grouch.

"You choose a guy like him over someone like me?" He shouts.

"Shut up!" I shout back, not wanting anyone else to be dragged into this.

"What does he have that I dont?" He asks.

"One, hes not rude. And two, he isn't loud." I state.

"What?! I can be nice!" He growls.

"Suuure." I reply. "Besides, it's not like that. I'm just training with him while working under my father." I point out.

"That's a fucking lie." He replies.

"We arent dating..." I state, getting annoyed. "Not till I'm 18."

"Dude, hes 26!" Bakugo states.

"Yeah but he also started his own hero agency at the age 18, and became one of the top 10 heroes four years later. He can show me how to get away from my father like that." I try.

"Yeah, uh hello! He became your dads sidekick!" Bakugo points out.

"Until he can get further up the hero ranks." I try to explain further.

"This is just wrong. You should be with someone your age." He mumbles. "You dumped me for an older guy..."

"We are not dating!" I state. "Not till I'm 18!"

"By the time that happens he will be 27." Do you really want to be with someone that could end up-"

"Hey guys!" Midoriya cuts in.

"Not now nerd!" Bakugo growls.

"What's going on?" Midoriya asks.

"Nothing." I try.

"None of your business nerd. Get lost." Bakugo growls.

"What am I-"

"Midoriya, it's nothing. Dont worry about it." I try and start to walk away.

"Hey! We arent finished here, icyhot!" Bakugo calls out to me.

"I'm ending it." I reply.

"You want to know what's going on, Deku?" Bakugo starts. I stop and turn back to glare at him.

"Shut up, Bakugo!" I demand.

"Hes messing around with the pro hero, Hawks." Bakugo tells him.

"What?" Midoriya looks to me now.

"I'm not messing around with him." I try.

"Well, what's the issue with it?" Midoriya asks.

"Hawks is in his twenties and Todoroki is 17." Bakugo points out.

"Almost 18." I jump in.

"I think if hes happy hes happy but yeah by law its illegal." Midoriya states. "I see both sides."

"So it's okay for him to dump me for some older guy close to his thirties?" Bakugo growls at Midoriya.

"I didn't dump you for an older guy. I broke up with you because I couldn't handle your outbursts." I state.

"Kacchan, are you just upset about it because you want Todoroki back?" Midoriya jumps in.

"Of course I want him back! But that's not the reason I'm upset! This is wrong!" Bakugo shouts.

"Bakugo, Shut up." I look around and the others are starring at us.

"Well Kacchan, you're 18. You'd technically be dating a minor than to." Midoriya adds.

"I'm only a few months older! Hawks is years!" Bakugo shouts.

"Stop!" I plead, seeing people turning to watch us. "Bakugo, I beg you stop!" I plead.

"Then stop seeing this guy!" He shouts. "Its not right!"

"Kacchan, we can all talk about this later. You are drawing attention." Midoriya tries helping me.

"Whatever?!" Bakugo storms away. Leaving Midoriya and I baffled on the whole thing and then we both leave before anyone can ask us anything.
