(Y/N) stirred awake from her dreamless sleep, she opened her eyes slowly to the sight of her room. Her head throbbed in pain as she recalled laying in the hospital building attached to the company for a short while.
She remembered drifting back and forth from sleep as she was driven back home and her body being carried through her door and up the stairs by a pair of strong arms.
James Hwang's face flashed in her mind, he was the one who brought her home and laid her in bed before disappearing out the door and that was the last she could recollect.
She looked over to the alarm clock on the bedside table; the time read 11:33 am. She had slept through the previous day.
She pushed the covers off her clothed body and headed for the light switch. Once the dark room was illuminated, her vision had began blurring up again; her feet carrying her to the bathroom where she emptied the contents of her stomach into the toilet.
Her eyes wet with tears and the taste of vomit ever so present in her mouth, she rested her body against the wall; weak from retching as she tried to calm herself down.
She got up and rinsed her mouth after a few seconds and decided to head back into bed.
As she laid on the soft cushioned bed, her eyes stared up at he ceiling.
"Could I be...?" She trailed off, muttering to herself worriedly. She recalled the last time she took a birth control pill was the night she spent with Jungkook.
*Ring Ring*
*Ring Ring*
Her soliloquy was interrupted by the loud ring of her phone laying beside her head.
She sluggishly reached out and grabbed the device to check the caller.
|JEON JUNGKOOK|
She sucked in a deep breath and sighed as she swiped the receive icon.
"Uh.. Hello." His angelic voice called out on the other end of the line.
"Wh-what's up, Kook?" She managed to speak as normal as possible.
"Are you alright? You voice sounds strained." He worried.
"I'm good, I'm good." She lied, laughing at the end the assure the man.
Jungkook hummed, unconvinced by her words.
"Can I see you today? I have something really important to tell you?" He requested shyly.
"Does it have to be today?" She groaned lowly, dreading leaving the bed, talk less of leaving the house.
"If I don't tell you today, someone else migh-" He faltered, pausing his words, "It just has to be today."
"If it's that serious where do you want to meet up?" She replied, tiredly.
"I'm currently busy helping Hobi hyung move a few things, so I'll meet you at our studio in two hours." He said.
"Are you sure you're okay, though? I don't mind waiting, I could actually come check on you." He offered sincerely.
"I'm good, I'll meet you at the studio, okay?" She assured, a bit happy that he was worried about her wellbeing.
"Okay, see you in two hours." With that he hung up the phone.
As soon as she dropped the phone from her ear, she was rushing back into the bathroom for another round of vomit.
After settling down, she took a much needed bath and readied herself to go meet Jungkook.
She opted to take the bus, seeing as she was in no condition to drive. On the bus, she couldn't help but stare at the pregnant woman who sat a few rows from her.
She wondered what having children would be like, she wasn't even sure who the father was; assuming she was pregnant. Was it Jungkook, Namjoon, Jimin, Hoseok or Taehyung? Was she even ready for children?
Soon than expected, the bus came to a halt at her destination, she hopped out and stood in front of the BigHit building and with a sigh, she trudged into the air conditioned lobby.
"Welcome, (Y/N)." The receptionist greeted her as she entered the building. She had become familiar to most of the staff after Hoseok had made sure to introduce her to all of them.
"Good afternoon." She bowed slightly at the older woman.
"Who are you here to see? I could ring them up for you." The woman nicely offered, reaching out to take the phone.
"I'm just waiting for Jungkook, he should be on his way." (Y/N) replied with a warm smile masking her discomfort.
The receptionist nodded and went back to her work; typing away on her computer as (Y/N) took a seat to wait for Jungkook to arrive.
A few minutes later, her phone dinged, she pulled it out to see that she had received a text from Jungkook which she opened to read.
-Jungkook: I'm going to be a bit late, Hobi hyung still has a few more stuff he needs to move.
(Delivered)
(Y/N) sighed tiredly as she read the text.
"(Y/N)?" Her head snapped when a familiar voice called out her name. Her eyes were met with Yoongi's.
"What are you doing here?" He walked over to her, a carton of juice in his hands which he had just opened up. As he inched closer, he noticed her skin was paler than usual; his brows furrowed in worry.
"I was supposed to meet up with Jungkook, but he's running a bit late." She responded.
"Are you alright? You look a bit pale." He whispered, not wanting the receptionist to know of their discussion.
She only smiled as a reply, but Yoongi wasn't having it, "Come wait for Jungkook in my studio, you can rest there." He proposed, holding his hand out for her to follow him.
As they walked into the reasonably spaced room, (Y/N) realized she had never actually been in his studio before. The area was littered with music equipment and various sheets which she assumed he wrote lyrics on.
He ushered her to sit on a bean bag chair in the room as he settled on the office chair placed in front of his desk where his computer was.
"I just have a few stuff to finish up, so make yourself comfortable." He instructed and put his headphones on then turned his attention to the computer.
(Y/N) shifted in the woolen seat and decided to take a nap before Jungkook would arrive.
