REGRETS....

Mike sat down in his car for a very long time, he wanted to believe he had nothing to do with her accident because he was not ready to be in a horrible situation with her mom and she definitely sounded very worried and the way she was asking him questions on the phone earlier made him scared he didn't know who else to call or text and he was mad worried. so he decided he wasn't going to suffer himself anymore, about having to worry about Fiona just then something Jeff said kicked into his head about going to her house but yet again he wasn't sure about anything at this point when her mom disconnected the call without her saying anything concerning everything so finally he made up his mind to drive to Fiona's house without hesitation and face whatever was going to happen to him.

                     He got there in a few minutes then got down from his car with serious fear and walked all the way to their front door and saw Jeff standing there, all the fear he felt wiped off the instant he saw him standing there, but he knew it wasn't the time or place to but Jeff didn't understand that so he went straight to Mike and grabbed him by the shirt and said

"what are you looking for here huh? didn't I mention not to come here? why is it that you find things very difficult to grab and there I was thinking you were actually smart, why don't you try not to be an Ass sometimes it would fit well into your portfolio" he finished and moved closer to him to show off then Mike looked him in the eye and smiled "at least I am smarter than you, because if am not smart that makes you a dumbass Jeff" Mike said and turned when Jeff made an attempt to punch Mike but he couldn't he was distracted by his phone call and Mike felt his phone vibrated in his front pocket so he rushed to grab it and checked it and it was Fiona calling and Jeff was busy saying some stuff he couldn't quite hear so he raised his middle finger up to him and walked away and answered the call immediately he got inside his car and locked door but the fear in him came back again 

"Mike?" the person on the phone said with the voice mike knew it was Fiona's mom

"yes ma'am" he answered "am so sorry ma, for everything, I couldn't bring myself to say the truth, everything that has happened is my fault and am so sorry once again ma I will take anything you decided and punish me with it" and there it was the whole truth and nothing but the truth as soon as he stopped talking everywhere went silent for a while again, and this time he was mad scared but later on she said 

"Mike, did you do something wrong?" she asked confused

"um, not really we just had an argument that's all so I was thinking she probably took it very seriously and something happened to her, that's all I was worried about," he said sweating all over even when his a/c was on

"oh, so she told you about her sickness but she hardly does that, um what I meant was that she doesn't open up to people easily even me"

"sickness? what sickness? is Fiona okay?" he asked so confusedly not knowing how to act about what she was saying it was more like he couldn't understand her or the word coming out of her mouth "please tell me Fiona is okay" he added in a very soft worried tone

"if this isn't about her sickness then what are you talking about then?" she asked sneezing and wondered if Mike was Fiona's boyfriend he sounded too concerned for a friend 

"um, am right in front of your house so I don't know if you are in or not and I would like talk and probably get the chance to see Fiona and that's If you don't mind ma," he said totally ignoring what she said.

"yes I am, I will get the door right away," she said then hung up the phone then mike decided to sum up courage and talk to her even though he was going to lie a little but he had too just then he looked up and saw Jeff through his windshield pacing up and down the whole walkway and he paused just then to look at him then he smiled and said softly "this guy is a terrible fool" then he got down from the car and headed straight for the door but unfortunately Jeff got in his way again 

"bro! aren't you tired, Jesus! just walk if you want to walk or not don't frickin bother me guy stop it!" he said very frustratedly but he decided to act cool because he was meeting Fiona's mom soon and he can't have her think of him a very bad way and Jeff was surprised but didn't still listen he was throwing every shade he had at him to piss him off but Mike never paid attention until she opened the door  

"hello boys," she said smiling, "I thought you were here alone, didn't know you had company" she added as she looked over to Jeff and smiled then Mike smiled forcefully "neither did i" he said

"you guys should please come in i was actually busy in the kitchen if you would please give me few minutes i will join you soon" she said as she showed them the sitting room "please make yourselves comfortable" she said and Mike was trying hard to get where Fiona's room can be so he was looking around the house even went up the stairs but he came down immdaitely he heard her mom's voice. "which one olf you is Mike" she asked as Mike reluctantly raised up his hands saying "that would be me"

"oh! and you are?" she faced Jeff smiling and Jeff took a step forward to her saying "am Jeffery ma, Fiona's close friend and probably more and gaming partner," he said kissing her hands

"ouuuuu, you quite the fun type she said blushing and flipping her hair," she said blushing "it's really nice to meet you guys but she never mentioned she was in a game tho"

"that's maybe because she didn't count it as important as someone else does," Mike said eyeing Jeff in the process then he decided to cut all the bullshitting Jeff was doing and go straight to the reason he came there in the first place  "please ma, is Fiona okay? what sickness were you talking about earlier on the phone?" immediately he asked the question he saw how the smile wiped off her face regarding when he just asked 

"Is everything alright with Fiona?" Jeff asked he could tell that everyone in the room was as tensed as him "she is alright right?" he asked again

"Fiona isn't fine and the sickness I was talking about," she said facing Mike   "she has type 2 diabetes and she wasn't supposed to be stressed or out of water or juice but she didn't eat throughout the day and she ended up fainting and broke her bone in the process so she is in the hospital as we talk right now in a very critical position, I wonder what she was thinking about so much," she said as she saw Mike he fell to the floor

Mike felt a sharp pain in his chest immediately he heard what she said then he fell to the floor and said "its all my fault, I did this to her"..........
