the trick

Alex jumped up, an idea popping into her head. Gigi has just told her 'just release the next chapter' and though he wasn't done with it yet (not even halfway done) he found this as a perfect opportunity to trick them.

They quickly opened wattpad and started writing 'siKE' but hesitated. They had done that before. It was bland, uninteresting, only fun for a second. So He set off on another mission. He went back to the group chat, quickly writing 'just give me a second i was almost done anyway' so they wouldn't suspect a thing.

This gave him some time to complete a greater goal. To trick them in a way that would leave them not only shocked that it wasn't the next chapter but also shocked by the trick itself. It was a trick inside of a trick. A surprise that set off yet other surprise.

Yes they would definitely be fooled. They would open this story expecting the next chapter. Or at least half-expecting the next chapter as they would probably still be unsure if Alex was telling the truth or not. After all he had done something like this before. They all had if he remembered correctly.

But upon opening the story and realizing that it did not say sike in big bold letters, they would be convinced even further that this was actually the next chapter. They would see paragraphs worth of words and be convinced further, even if only for a second, that this is in fact the next chapter.

But then they would start reading. Soon they would realize, with crushing defeat, that this was not the next chapter at all. No this was a long, exaggerated and very dramatic SIKE. Paragraphs upon paragraphs of words just to reveal one huge sike. One big joke. The best trick in the history of tricks Alex had every pulled.

He smiled. This would be such a crushing defeat for tgt. With every doubt in their mind washed away when they saw no sike, when all they saw were paragraphs, they would be completely fooled. If even for only one second, one second before they started reading, one second of complete belief, all this would have been worth it.

As Alex typed the final words, they smirked. They had almost finished their fake chapter, their trojan horse, their trick in disguise. He sat back examining his work. He felt as if it were missing something. He struggled to put his finger on it but yes something was definitely off.

They closed the story and was just about to  publish it until it hit them. The missing piece. The final word. He quickly opened the fake chapter again and with steady hands, he typed the last word.

sike
