Prologue

" lucas babe here! " i smiled when I heard that voice who called me.

" hey babe. " i said and kissed her on her lips and as I expected she responds to my kiss.

" what took you so long babe? " malambing na tanong niya sa akin matapos kong bitiwan ang labi niya at umupo sa tabi niya.

" im sorry na stock kasi ako sa traffic, where are they? " tanong ko sa kanya habang nililibot ko ang paningin ko upang hanapin ang mga kaibigan ko.

" ayon namimingwit ng chicks alam mo naman yang mga kaibigan mo. " aniya habang natatawa.

" hmmm, kanina ka pa dito? "

" not really, kakarating ko lang din. " malambing na sagot niya at inihilig ang ulo niya sa balikat ko.

" hmmm are you okay? " i asked while combing her hair with my fingers.

" yeah ofcourse im just tired with my busy schedules. " i smiled and pulled her closer to me.

" how's your day by the way? " i kissed her temple before looking at her beautiful face.

" tiring as always but i like what im doing so, even though its tiring i still enjoy the rest of my day at work. " i know she's happy at her work, i can see it the way she smiles while talking about it, maurine is a fashion designer and she's good at her chosen field, in her age i can say that she's already successful but to her its not and she thinks that she's still far from being a successful fashion designer.

That's why when the opportunity knocks on her door without a second thought she accepted it, there's a big company in new york who offered her a job and she's so happy about it and im happy to see that she's happy but im also upset at the same time, I don't want her to be away from me, i want her to stay with me as long as we're alive.

But what can i do, i love her so much that i will do anything just to make her happy, ayoko din namang pigilan siya sa gusto niya dahil ayokong isipin niyang hadlang ako sa mga pangarap niya, i love her that's why i will support all her decisions.

" that's good to hear. " i said and call the waiter to order a drink.

" you will send me to the airport tomorrow right? " i gave her a weak smile before i nod my head.

" can't i really change your decision babe? " i know i already said that i will support her whatever she wants to do but sometimes i also want to try my luck, cause it's really hard for me to be away from her and it's fvcking four years, that four long years she will be away from me and that thought is killing me.

" babe you already know that this is my dream right? and this is also for our future babe, so please just support me on this hmmm? "

" you know that i can give you all you want and all you need right babe? You don't really need to work hard for our future cause i can assure you that i can give you the future that you dreamed of. "

" but my dream is to be a successful and a well known fashion designer babe and you know that this job offer in New York is my stepping stone to reach that dream and I hope you understand me. "

" of course baby, im just trying my luck to change your mind but I guess I can't really change your mind about leaving me here. "

" babe don't say that please, yes im leaving you but for the mean time only it's just four years babe the time runs so fast and always remember that i love you, i maybe far away from you but my heart only belongs to you that's why don't be sad already please? " malambing na sabi niya habang nakatingin sa akin, how can i say no to this beautiful and lovely woman beside me.
