Pure Demise

CHAPTER-14

RAY'S POV

"Explain" Justin deadpanned.

"This girl here" I said pointing towards Selene " She just expressed her undying love for me by kissing me in front of Ana which is why she just ran away probably to the hills" I expected a look of shock or fury but what I saw left me dumbfounded.

" That is awesome...please tell me you kissed her back" Justin hoped.

"Ofcourse not..are you out of mind? I saw Ana and pushed her. I didn't wanted to be on your receiving end for ruining your precious plan"

" What the hell!! It was the perfect opportunity for you to break her." 

"But why would I break her. You wanted me to be the good guy for her" I was confused and what made me surprised more that Justin didn't find Selene's confession odd. " I don't think you seem least bit bothered that Selene is just standing here and listening us discussing our plan and moreover you don't seem shocked about her confession" I raised a brow.

" Ofcourse not, she was a part of the plan all along, Why do you think I wanted you to propose a deal with her...simple because I knew that she has something for you , it just needed a push, where my dear sister comes to action." Justin declared.

"What do you mean you knew. What if she runs to Ana now and spill all her guts and how it will be benefited to you?" I asked.

"I thought I taught you better than this. Even if she runs to her Ana won't believe a thing she says. By now you should have been able to figure it out." Justin smirked.

" I have my doubts. But I think I get you."

" Well the thing is bro, when a person you trusts so much hurt you, you get devastated...vulnerable. When a person is vulnerable he/she needs support. It was planned to make you so high in front of her that when you would get snatched away by none other than her best friend she would be devastated, then there comes me her knight in shining armor...her only support. Ofcourse she will fight and try to push me away but in the end I would be the one to break her walls and yes! its a happy ending. But now I think I will have to think of something else.."

"Oh my fricking God...you nailed it dude...I mean wow. Remind me to  never be in your way. Well about the problem at hand I have a solution in mind but I don't think you would like that but guarantee it will do your work ...so what do you think?" I know I was walking on a thin ice but one can try.

" Well if you guarantee it will work then go ahead but if your sure that I won't like it then don't tell me. I want it to be done regardless of I like the way or not" Justin replied.

I did not see that coming. It was new...I have never seen Justin this desperate before. He probably had some idea about what I was about to do. Unlike me he knows me well....maybe that is why he told me not to tell him. Well whatever sails his  boat.

"Holy shit!! that asshole. I will kill him." Taylor fumed. " But I don't understand...how did you know about what happened after you left?"

" This is my queue. After Ana told me what happened I sent her to her room because she needed space and I left to collect my phone which I forgot at the backstage and was headed to before Ana collided with me" Liam answered Taylor. " I overheard what they were talking but couldn't keep track where was it heading to....frankly I didn't understand a thing that time what they were discussing so I just grabbed my phone slipped out of there without anybody knowing."

" But what was it Ray had planned? Why do I feel like there was more to just Selene kissing Ray? I mean you are not that foolish to take this step just because your best friend kissed your crush. I mean it happens most of the time....ex girl friends , jealous cousins and  cheating best friends is not something you find rarely. Then what happened." Taylor asked.

"Gee thanks! I take that as a complement but on a serious note yeah! you are right something happened. Something big" I replied.

" Ana what is it..you are scaring me"

" Soon you will know..... soon "
