What is it like to fear death?
It is like stressing over an exam;
you forget most of the time
but when you get
those little reminders-
It's very frightening.
I cannot fathom
the words
to express
the direction which
my thoughts are steering.
Places I've never dreamt of visiting
even in my most unconscionable
state.
Those dark places
need to be cleared
of dust sometimes.
I guess...
When you fear death,
all the thoughts that
you were about to
let go-
come flooding back:
all those awful regrets
all those missed opportunities
To wonder, why?
