What is dafont?
Dafont  in simpler definition is where you can download and submit fontstyles. Just visit the website dafont.com

How to create my own font?

Malay ko, malay n'ya malaysia.
Seriously, in making your own font you need inspiration since there are lots of fonts already so your fontstyle should be unique . Technical skills should also be present and if you're planning to sell your fonts, I suggest you should create your own website since it pays well than publishing it to other websites but if you're planning to publish it in Dafont then prepare your heart since hindi automatic na accepted ka kaagad if you publish on this site. Its just like auditioning, they will review your output before accepting it.

Is DaFont com safe?Have you ever used it?
Yes its safe base on my experience.

Are DaFont fonts free?
There are fonts that are free and fonts that aren't 100% free. Its their author's property either freeware, donationware, shareware, demo versions or public domain. Kasi nga pag-aari nila wala kang karapatang mang agaw at take note may licensya sa itaas or kung saan mang lupalop kaya malalaman mo agad kung pwede landiin este for free or not.
So please pag nalandi este na download mo na,  wag agad idelete ang read-me files since nandoon ang guide kung ano ang dapat at di dapat sa paglalandi este paggamit ng font. The author's contact is also there kaya pwede mo siya itextmate I mean contact so that magpapaalam ka na gagamitin mo ang fonts niya and TAKE note that it doesn't mean na kapag walang naka indicate na license or author ay single este free siya so pinapayuhan ko kayong mag-ingat.
In short,  para safe ka for future purposes.

Is it required to donate to the author?
I think its not required it depends on the license or kung marami kang money.

how to download and install fonts in dafont?
I prefer that you use a browser in downloading fonts. Like Chrome, Opera mini and etc.

For Mobile(5 STEPS)

✳First,  check your internet connection.

✳Second,  paste or type " dafont.com"
or "www.dafont.com" in a search tab.

✳Third,  you will be directed to their homepage where you can find lots of fontstyles. You can browse by alphabetical listing, by style, by author ,by popularity or by type of font.

✳Fourth, once you find the font you're lookin for then click the download button.

✳Fifth, long press/tap/click the zip file and extract all or unzip it so that you can open the file.
Normally,  phones have built in extractor already and if you don't have one just download on playstore "zip extractor" and some results will pop out. Choose something that works on your gadget.

For any version of Windows

After downloading from dafont, select and highlight the font files with the file extension (.ttf, .otf or .fon) into the Fonts folder found usually in Local Disk C:\Windows\Fonts or C:\WINNT\Fonts

If your computer or laptop doesn't have a built in extractor, you can download unzip tool, winrar, winzip.

For Windows Vista/XP
Just double tap the font.ttf and it will be installed.

          For Windows Vista (10,8,7)

After downloading from dafont you can now select the font files with the following extension(.ttf, .otf or .fon) then  right-click  and Install.

                       For Mac OS

Once you copied or downloaded the fonts already.  Mac OS X will recognize the file extensions (.ttf and .otf) except (.fon). You'll just repeat the cycle of installation and use some unzipping tool like "Stuffit Expander" and etc.

Note: There are versions of Mac Os that isn't compatible so you need to convert the file.

How to install a font under Linux?

If you're downloading fonts using phone you can copy the font files with the extension(.ttf or .otf) to fonts:// in the File Manager.

If it doesn't work, there are other ways explained in YouTube.

How many fonts can be installed?

For Mobile phones it depends on the capacity of said memory. I prefer downloading the necessary one so that my phone won't lag.

for Windows it also depends on the capacity of your computer and according to my research it can hold and manage for about thousand fonts and again, its better downloading the necessary one so that your system won't lag and slow down.

Tips:
Keep your downloaded fonts in a folder like in your flash disk, hard drive or whatsoever and its better to organize them so that when you need them you can install or uninstall.

Make sure that you have copied the .ttf file or the .otf file, and not the zip or compressed file into the Fonts folder.

P.s

Don't forget to read the license if there is one since ignorance is not an excuse for breaking the law.
