F o n t  F o r m a t

☑ .otf(OpenType Font)

Ito yung file extension or font format na galing sa truetype standard at pwedeng iresize na hindi nawawala ang quality niya. Nakakagamit siya ng glyphs, maliit lang ang kanyang file size, supports lot of platforms and many more.

☑ .ttf(TrueType Font)

Ito din ay similar kay otf na pwedeg ma resize na di nawawala ang quality at kapag ikaw ay nagprint na ganun padin ang style niya like walang nabago kung ano yung naka display sa screen, yun lang din ang output na lalabas.

Note: Kapag itong dalawang format na lumabas sa file mo its okay since nagfufunction sila, the more the merrier.

☑ .woff (Web Open Font Format)

to yung file or font format na kadalasang ginagamit sa web. It loads faster kasi naka compress siya unlike sa ttf and otf kapag na unzip na.

Ito yung file or font format na di pwedeng iresize like ttf or otf maybe because older type siya na font and this type is also the opposite of ttf since hindi katulad ng nasa screen ang output ng printing process.

☑ Free for personal use means you can download them for free but only use them for personal or for non-commercial purpose. In short, bawal siya gamitin commercially.

☑ Free or 100% free means free or libre,  walang bayad. Madownload mo for free at maggamit sa kung ano-ano pa.

☑ Public domain, this kind of license is yung digitized version na pwede mong gamitin in whatever way you like including making changes as long as you acknowledge the original designer or make some attributions especially kapag enedit mo work niya.

☑ Donationware from the word donation plus software,  it means you the one who downloaded the fonts will donate to the author or designer who made the font you're downloading. You can download it without paying,  its just that you are given an offer to donate.

☑ Demo ito yung fonts na incomplete or trial versions and the good thing is that you can directly install this with or without a third wheel app.

☑ Shareware from the word share plus software this type is distributed and can be downloaded without payment but it has limitations.

Note:
Be very careful and take the time to read any and all documentation .txt, doc or pdf file "read-me" found together with the font you downloaded after extracting it before using the font commercially or not kasi there are instances na free siya for personal use pero magdodonate ka so for clarification you need to read the "read-me" files or contact the author.
