Min ran to the racing area to find all the front spots taken. She cursed. She placed her car down and shut the door, waiting for it to start. She closed her eyes and lay down in her seat, trying to remember all the parts of the track.
"Ahh, we meet again. Must be fate," a voice said. She opened her eyes when she realised the person was speaking to her. A red samurai was seated in the car next to hers.
She looked at him, confused. "Umm... What?"
Daito raised an eyebrow. "We met on Planet Doom about a minute ago."
"Who the hell are you?"
"Wha- I saved your life!"
"You must have the wrong person."
"Y- You wanted to kill me!"
"I've wanted to kill many players, and if I had wanted to kill you, you'd be dead."
"You really don't remember me?"
"No-" 'Wait a second...
"So you're going to kill me?"
"Don't expect me to have mercy on you."
Ahh... that idiot.'
"So what if I do?" She asked, a bored expression on her face.
Daito's lips curved into a smile. "So you do remember me."
"I'd rather not."
"I don't think we've been properly introduced. My name is-"
"Don't know, don't care, don't want to know." She saw the race was about to start. "A word of advice, stay away from me and leave me alone. If you don't, you won't have a peaceful existence." The lights turned green and Min sped off, leaving Daito behind. She dodged a few cars that crashed and opened her door to collect the coins. She sped through the wrecking balls. She felt her car jerk as a ball hit her. She swore loudly. She pulled herself out of her broken car, not realising another was about to hit into her. When she saw it, it was too late. She shut her eyes and braced herself for the incoming impact but it never came. Instead, she felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist and pulled her away. She opened her eyes to see...
"You?! Why are you everywhere?!" She yelled as she pulled away from him.
"Hey, I saved your life again, didn't I? Can't I have a thanks this time?" Daito asked with a smirk.
"In your dreams! Besides, you didn't save my life, you ruined my death!" She spat out. She stared at her car. She wasn't really good at repairing stuff. Daito followed her gaze.
"I know someone who could fix that."
"I don't need help fixing it. I can do it myself." That was a lie. She couldn't fix her car even if her life depended on it.
"Hmm... That means you can help me fix mine too!" Daito said as he pulled up his inventory and showed her his wrecked car.
"Why should I?"
"Hey! Daito!" They both turned to look at the speaker. He looked kinda like an orc. Beside him was a yellow ninja. "How's your car?"
"Hey Aech! Mine is totally wrecked."
"I'll fix it up for you. Mine and Sho's are broken real bad." He turned to Min. "That your new friend? Her car need fixing too?" Daito was about to answer when Min cut him off.
"No. We are not friends and I don't need you to fix my car."
"Aech is the best in the Oasis. I'm pretty sure you can't fix it better than he can," Daito told her. "You can come to his workshop too to watch him."
