How it all began

When you're in your classroom and you look around, what do you see? Normal kids right? You know some well and others not so much. There is one boy no one notices. No one pays attention to him at all. This is his reality.
Hi my name is Alexander, but you can call me Alex. I am an Omega. I am a regular sophomore. I am 16 and go to Power Technical Early College (PTEC for short). I have a small problem though ...I'm too normal. I know that sounds weird, but it is true. I'm ignored, even by my own parents. Those who do acknowledge me are bullies. My big brother is the favorite child. Just because he is an alpha. I'm the youngest out of two boys.  I became extremely depressed. No one noticed. No one cared. I even eventually became a mute.
"Hi, my name is Erin. I'm a beta. What's your name?" a girl came up to me and asked. I waved and started writing, "Hi, my name is Alexander, but you can call me Alex, I am an omega," Erin looked confused. "Why are you writing on a whiteboard?" she asked, genuinely curious. "Oh, I am mute, I don't talk." I wrote down. "Well, hey, you can't get in trouble for talking right?" Erin laughed. I gave a fake smile and laugh. "No one talks to me anyway," I thought. "Well I have to get to class, have a good day Alex." She said, smiling as she walked away. I went to class as well. After school, I walked as fast as I could without running to find a hiding place. Why, you ask? Well, after school is when "they" come.
"Hey emo, muted, freak!" A boy twice my size says, "Get over here." I shook my head no, and started walking backwards. "What was that freak?" he asks walking toward me. I turned around to start running, but ran into someone and fell backwards. "Where do you think you are going omega?" another very tall boy asks.
I went home with a black eye, a bloody nose, and bruises everywhere. I walk in the door and see my parents. My mom looks up from her book to see who just came through the door. "Oh my goodness!" she yells at me. "Go to the bathroom and clean up before you get blood all over my house. "I nodded and went to the bathroom. I was there until my older brother knocked on the door. "Hey little bro, can I come in?" he asks. "Y-yeah," I said weakly. My brother was the only one I talked to. He walked in and gasped. "Oh jeez Alex, mom said you were hurt but..." he says. "I'm okay Adrien, I promise." I assured him. My nose had finally stopped bleeding. "I don't know bro, your nose looks pretty bad. I'll take you to the doctor after dinner okay?" Adrien asks. "O-okay." I stuttered as we headed to the kitchen. "Adrien, will you please grab some plates from the garage? I got some new ones that I'd like to use." my mom asked. "Sure, mom," Adrien replies. Once he was gone, mom came up to me. "After dinner, you're going to clean the whole house for getting blood on my new tile floor, understand me mute freak?" She said. I nodded. "Use your god forsaken words useless trash!" She said, clearly furious. When I just shook my head she smacked me across the face and walked away. Adrien came back and we ate dinner. "Hey mom, I'm taking Alex to the doctors, I'll be back soon." Adrien yells. "Alright sweety, but make sure he pays for it!" she yells back. We left and while we were in the car, he asked, "now how did you get this badly hurt this time, Al?" I was surprised by the question. "Oh ,um... I fell down t-the s-stairs in s-school." I stuttered nervously. "Oh, really?" he asks suspiciously. "Y-Yeah!" I say quickly. "Now tell me what really happened." Adrien says with a smirk. I sighed," I got beat up by my upper classmen again." Adrien and I sat in silence for the rest of the car ride.
"He has a broken nose," the doctor said, "We don't have to reset the bone though." I sigh in relief. I didn't want to pay for all of that. "Thank you very much doctor, we'll be going now," Adrien said calmly. "Wait, there is one other thing I would like to talk to you about with you and your parents." The doctor said seriously. Of course I knew what it was about. My arms and shoulders. I always wear a hoodie and/or a long sleeved shirt to cover it. "My parents are not here at the moment, but I shall tell them." Adrien said. "Okay, well... umm... Alex do you mind taking off your hoodie for me?" the doctor asked me. I shook my head no. "Please do as he said, Alexander." Adrien said blankly. He never used my full name like that. I started to tear up as I did as the doctor said.
"Oh, God Alex," Adrien yelled, "why!?" I looked away from them. "This is what I wanted you to know." the doctor said. After the discussion we both left. Adrien didn't let me put back on my hoodie as we walked through the full waiting room and parking lot. We got in the car in silence. "I am s-" I was interrupted by a hug from Adrien. "Just why, Al? Why did you do it?" He asked crying.  "It's the only way to control the way I feel inside." I chuckle sadly.
I got my hoodie back when we got home. My 'so-called' parents were asleep, so I took a shower and went to my room. I opened my drawer and grabbed my pocket knife I got from my dad when I was seven. One cut......Two cuts...... Three cuts..... Four cuts. My arms were covered in blood. I put on my hoodie and went to sleep.
"Wake up rat!" My mother screams. I sit up. "No breakfast for you." She said as she slammed my door. I put on my shoes and headed to school. I accidentally bumped into someone and started writing, "I'm s-so-" on my  whiteboard, all of a sudden it was taken from me. "Watch where you are going, mute." A giant said, "Why don't I teach you something," He broke my whiteboard. Then he beat the crap out of me.
"you have two choices, you can stay here or you can go home." the school nurse asked me. I had a notebook with me since my whiteboard was broken. "I'd like to stay, please," I wrote quickly. "Are you sure, dear?" she asked surprised. I nodded. "Alright, here is your pass, go back to class." she sighed,as she signed the pass and gave it to me.
I got beat up after school too. I went home with bruises and blood everywhere on my face. "What did I tell you to do after dinner last night!" My mom yelled as I walked in the door. I didn't answer her. "Freak! Do you work or else no dinner for a week." she said. I nodded. "Good, now go." she said and walked away. I started cleaning the tile. Three hours later, Adrien came home. I had just finished cleaning. "I'm home!" Adrien exclaimed as he came home. "Hi sweety." she says as she hugged him. "Where is Alex?" he asked her. "Oh , Alexander is upstairs in his room." she said clearly annoyed.
Adrien headed upstairs to my room. "Hey Al, How was sc-" he stopped mid sentence when he saw me crying as he entered the room. "What happened to you?" he asked concerned. I had bruises everywhere from the one-sided fight. "A f-f-fight at school." I stuttered underneath my sobs. Adrien patches up my face. "Anywhere else Al?" He asked me. "N-no, thanks big bro."
