A few months passed and my father woke up from his coma. Erin and I started dating. Robert transfered to my school to help with my bullies. Adrien became my "personal therapist."  He's getting paid for it too. Erin also started living with us. I stopped using my whiteboard and started talking to people. My scars are still there but I chose to ignore that. I grew my hair out so Erin could try different hairstyles on it. I still stutter but not as much, unless I'm nervous or lying.
"Hey puppy." Erin said walking up to me. Today is the last day of school. "So how'd you do in finals?" I asked her. "Well I need a little help in Math, but that's it." She said confidently. "I can help with that. Just never ask me to help you with Science, I almost bombed it." I say. Erin giggled a little. "Math nerd." She said laughing. "You're both nerds." Adrien said walking toward us with Robert walking next to him. We continued talking as we all headed home.
"Welcome back everyone." My father said happily greeting all of us. "Hi." we all say in unison. As we were all chatting, I looked down to see my arms. I haven't really looked at my arms in awhile. I gasped at what I saw. White, deep, and big scars all over them. I started having a panic attack. I was having flashbacks. I saw blood everywhere.
"Alexander!" I heard someone yell. I look up to see Erin staring at me with a worried look. "Are you alright, honey?" My mother asked me. "Y-yeah, I'm j-just f-fine m-mom." I say, still a little shaken up. "Alex, you're stuttering." Adrien said. "O-oh, I didn't n-notice." I lied. Adrien sighed. "I'm g-going t-to my r-room, s-see y'all l-later." I say, getting up. I get halfway up the stairs, and I heard Erin say getting up from the couch, "I'll follow him."  As soon as I heard her say that, I ran to my room and locked the door. Erin wasn't too far behind me. "Puppy, what's going on?" she yelled through the door. I didn't respond. I went to the corner of my room and curled up in a ball. "Please pup, let me in." She pleaded once more. "Calm down, calm down." I started mumbling to myself repeatedly, rocking back and forth.
"Hey, wake up." Someone said, shaking me awake. I was still in the corner. I guess I fell asleep while I had my panic attack. "H-how did you g-get i-in? I thought I locked m-my door." I say very confused as I stood up. "We picked the lock. Are you okay Alex?" Robert asked me. "Yeah, just a little panic attack." I said shrugging. "You scared us!" Erin said clearly upset. "I didn't mean to." I say emotionlessly. "Are you okay now?" Adrien asked concerned. "Yeah, definitely alright now." I say smiling. "Okay that's good, well we should get ready for school tomorrow." Robert says, relieved, "I'll see you all at school." We all said goodbye to  him and went on our way.
When we arrived at school, we quickly noticed that there was definitely something wrong.  The halls were empty, and the lights were suspiciously turned off.  "Wait didn't we finish school yesterday?" Erin asked. "Well crap." I said exhausted, "How are we going to get home?" We looked around to see if anyone had any ideas. "Does anyone have a phone?" Erin asks. Everyone shakes their head. "I guess we are walking home then." I say with a sigh. "Hey, a little exercise won't kill you right?" Erin says, staying positive. "Yeah, she's right." Adrien says. Everyone but me was laughing and talking on the way home. I wasn't focused, I was lost in thought all the way home.
"Alex?" Erin said, pulling me from my mind. "Yeah, what do you need?" I asked a little confused. "Nothing, just wondering if you were alright?" She wondered. I smile at her, "yeah, I was just lost in thought." I say calmly. I walk up to the door and reach to unlock it. "that's weird." I say confused. The door was unlocked and slightly open. I tensed up, and didn't move. "A-Adrien, c-call the p-police." I said with no emotion. "Why? Is everything okay?" He asked nervously. I sighed and turned around. "J-just do it." I say sternly. Adrien nods and pulls out his phone. "Everyone else stay out here." I say heading toward the door. I open the door, and listen. I didn't hear anything. I walk in the door and hear a snap like sound. I turn toward the sound and see a figure in all black. I froze, they had a gun in their hand. "Hey squirt, why don't you show me where all the money in your humble home is." The figure said. "I could just lead him to my room and shut the door and wait until the police come." I thought silently to myself. I nodded and started walking upstairs.
We got to my room, "I-in t-there." I say pointing to my room. The figure laughed and said, "Then I guess I don't need you anymore." He lifted the gun and shot. As I started to lose consciousness, I heard a siren. "G-good, N-now t-they will be o-okay." I said softly as I fell into a deep slumber.
I awoke in a bed I am very familiar with. "H-hello?" I say weakly. I hear a gasp and see Adrien next to my bed. "How did you know something was wrong?" He said, confused. I kinda giggled a little bit. "I sensed it I guess. I just felt that something wasn't right." I said as I shrugged and looked around. "Where's Erin?" I asked not seeing her. "She's at school she'll be here soon though" he said with a soft smile. I nod and lay back against the bed. I was finally free.....I was finally happy.
I suddenly wake up in my own bed covered in self harm cuts and abuse marks and a knife in my hand. It was all just a dream.......everything I thought was real.....was a giant lie.
