Chapter 5

Charlie's POV:

The ride to school basically me jamming to songs and after 15 minutes later, I arrived. As I was walking I saw Noah so I began walking towards him. Just when I was coming to greet him, I slipped. Looking around, I tried looking for what made me trip then hearing him bursts into fits of laughter and pointing at his shoelaces which were untied.

"Stop. It isn't funny" I said trying to act tough.

"Sorry I'll stop laughing"

"Let me tie your shoelaces to avoid any other mishap"

I heard whistling so I turned around to see some people staring at my ass. I quickly tied his shoes

"All done"

"Thanks"

"You're welcome"

We continued our way to class only to be stopped by Ethan Taylors, the school's player.

"Yo Noah, can you give me a second with Cassandra"

I was about to correct him when Noah spoke up

"Well first of all, her name is Charlie not Cassandra. Second of all I'm not going anywhere" Noah said to Ethan

"Suit yourself. So Charlie, me, you and movie tickets. What do you say?"

" I-"

He interrupted me before I got the chance to complete my sentence. "She doesn't want to"

"Why can't she go"

"Yeah Noah why can't I go" I said looking him

"Because she has a boyfriend and I don't think he would like that"

"She does?"

"I do?"

"Yes. Yes she does"

Ethan replied "I don't see him around and what he doesn't know won't hurt him"

Noah replied "you're looking at him"

My eyes widened and Ethan just laughed

"That's impossible Noah. I know you two aren't dating"

He was getting really angry which wasn't good so I tried pulling him but he wouldn't budge

"We. Are. Dating" He said slowly

"Prove it" he screamed which gathered an audience

"Fine"

He grabbed my face and started kissing me. I was shocked at first, then for some reason I started kissing back. When we pulled away, we noticed that he was gone and the "audience" started cheering

Our walk to class was a bit awkward. You could cut the tension with knife.

"I wanted to go on a date with him, and you don't have the rights to just kiss me like that"

"Then why did you kiss me back"

"I-I-I didn't want you to get embarrassed"

"Uh-huh" he eyed me suspiciously

" stop looking at me like that"

"Ethan is not good for you, he's a player who likes to toy with people's feelings"

"You're one too"

"That's why I know he's not good for you"
