A Month later: April

"Shut up!"

"I'm dead serious"

"What'd I miss" I walked up to my friends with the coffees we ordered.

"Lisa said that she caught Mrs. Allen and Mr. Gibb making out in the chemistry class" I almost spit out my drink. I heard rumors about Mr. Gibb being the reason Mrs.Allen was getting a divorce but I didn't believe it.

"So when is Sunmi and Seulgi getting here" Sunmi was Seulgi's new girlfriend. They met a few weeks ago when we went on a college tour. She was a dance major which Seulgi was interested in. They got to talking as before you knew it they were together. Tae said it was rushed but he wasn't one to talk.

You remember that guy he ditched me for. His name was Jeon Jungkook a junior and Tae's new boyfriend.
They all found someone to date, even Lisa!
She's dating Jisoo, who she just asked out yesterday.

"You know they're always late"

"So there going to be a festival opening opening up this Saturday, you guys wanna go" Here we go again.

"Yeah I heard they have these cute couple rides"

"Great for you and Jisoo, congratulations Lisa."

"Welcome to the cuffed club" 7th wheel here! Don't mind me, I'm just gonna sit here and pretend I'm not here.

Sounds like I'm not happy for them doesn't it?
I'm really am happy that they moved on but it just gets a bit annoying how often I'm left out because I'm single. If they wanna talk about couple stuff then they  can it's just that they always make me feel guilty when they cancel because they "feel bad" which makes me feel worse.

"Hey I'm gonna head home" I got bored listening to them and got up.

"What! It's barely 5"

"Sorry I have to help my parents with some stuff at home" I waved everyone goodbye and started walking home.

When I got there I saw my fathers shoes at the front door. He's home early? I rushed in and there he was.

"Hey dad, no extra shift to day" I went over to my dad and gave him a hug. He smelled of oil and laundry detergent. He owned a car shop but also worked at the washers a few streets down.

"Well I thought we could have some family time"

"Mom?"

"She'll meet us at the restaurant, so let's go" I walked out of the house with my dad and we headed to the restaurant.

When mom got there, dad had already ordered and the food was just arriving.

"So why are we really here?" Last time they took me to have some family time they told me that dad accidentally sat on my hamster. R.I.P Manny.

"Family time"

"Come on dad we don't do family time. There's something you guys want to tell me so come on"
They both looked at each other then looked back at me

"We got a house!" They said together

"You what?"

"I know it might seem all rushed to you but this is something we've been working on for two years now and we just finished all the work last week"

"So we've had a house for a week and you decided to tell me today"

"Well we thought that we could leave you in the apartment while you finish school"
