Closing out of the app, M/n scrolled through the long list of emails he received just from overnight. Ever since he tatted one of his customers, his store was now the place to get pierced. The sudden popularity wasn't bad, but it happened a little to quickly for M/n to register.
"Yo! I'm here to avoid doing my homework." A very familiar voice, echoed in the tattoo shop as a boy who was in the complete opposite mood, walked in.
Smiling, M/n stood up from the desk and waved. "Minsoo, shouldn't you be in class?" M/n asked and his friend rolling his eyes.
Despite the age gap, Minsoo and M/n were best friends and no one couldn't think of one person without the other. They met when Minsoo initially had a piercing appointment but he told M/n he wanted to learn more about body art.
"Have any interesting appointments yet?" Minsoo propped himself in M/n's seat as he watched the older walk over to the shop's computer.
Nodding, "I have one with someone named Hanse and another from you." M/n couldn't help but laugh when he saw his friend's name appear on his computer screen.
"I know I work part time here, but today's my day off! I was suddenly in the mood to get a piercing on my day off." Minsoo proudly boasted as he hopped off the chair and went over to the display table.
The sparkling jewelry that were well lit, made Minsoo smile in excitement. He loved getting piercings and if it wasn't for his parents who were against the idea, the college student would've had most of the piercings by now.
"So what are you getting today?" M/n asked, resting his chin on the palm of his hand.
"First of all, don't attack me with your visuals, that's disrespectful. I want my nose pierced today!" Minsoo cheered while skipping to M/n's station.
Chuckling at his best friend, M/n grabbed a piercing from the drawer and the equipment needed. While waiting for M/n to get ready, Minsoo decided to help the giant out and read the emails that scheduled appointments.
"I thought you're mom didn't want you having a nose piercing." M/n spoke softly as he carefully marked Minsoo's nose for the spot he thought would look best on his best friend.
Shrugging, "She said that liking boys was a phase, but I guess my 30-day trial became permanent." Minsoo replied sarcastically and gave M/n a thumbs up for the placement.
After getting the piercing, Minsoo stuck around since he didn't have anything else scheduled for the day.
"Since you're here, can you help me get things ready for Hanse?" M/n asked and went to the storage to print out the list of appointments for that week.
Minsoo happily helped M/n get ready and couldn't help but let out a small gasp when the bell signaled for a new customer.
"You must be Hanse, the owner is in the back so I'll check you in for now." Minsoo chirped and gave the other a bright smile.
Hanse was what Minsoo wanted to achieve. His piercings and sense of aura made him stand out compared to Minsoo's soft characteristics, but when the college student saw M/n race to the front desk with a sheet of paper, a playful smile made its way to his face.
"Sorry for the wait! You're getting a lip piercing today, right?"
