A very warm welcome to all our aspiring poets out there! We are extremely happy to announce the first edition of the Propitious Prompts for Poets.
We aim to bring out the wordsmith in you through this contest that we will host. What is it that you say? Not a poet? No problem!
Have you ever felt that tinge of sadness when your favourite earring breaks? Or the happiness coursing through your veins when the cake that you made for your mom turns out perfect?
Or the feeling of your blood boiling when you know your presentation was flawless but you still get a B? Or the disappointment when you are supposed to video chat with your boyfriend but he falls asleep?
If you have, here's a little bit of news - You are a poet too! You don't have to write poems all the time to be a poet.
You don't need to have previous experience either. You just need to let yourself feel. And that makes you a poet.
So let yourself feel.
Grab a piece of paper and a pen, scroll to the next chapter, follow the rules, fill out the forms, maybe be a judge too (or instead) and take part in a competition against the best!
