1. An Unexpected Event

Korras POV:

I was just walking around the Island alone with my thoughts after defeating Unalaq and the dark spirits and how I've just changed my own world forever, when all of the sudden I hear strange noises coming from a nearby bush. At first I just thought it was one of the lemurs native to the island, until said thing creating the rustling in the bushes jumps out right in front of me.

Korra: AHHHH. I screamed at what just startled me.

After I am done screaming I take a close and from what I saw it looked a bit like a dark spirit but something was different about it. It didn't look a spirit, in fact it looked just like a shadow, it had very tiny arms and legs, with tiny hands with claws on the ends of its fingers, it had very small antennas on the top of its round head, but what looked the most strange was is eyes its strange, its glowing yellow eyes staring at me with some strange instinctual intent.

However while I was lost in thought it started to runaway and snapped out of my thoughts and immediately followed where it was running off too. I chased all the to the forested area of the island and when I was immediately shocked to see a swarm of the black creatures swirling around in the center of the area.

Before I even had time to react the immediately swarmed on me and as they drowned me in there endless black bodies, I tried to scream but they were drowned and the next thing I knew I was slipping into unconsciousness unknown of the fate that  awaited.

Korras? POV

I awoke after what seemed like an eternity to me and I immediately noticed the change in my surroundings, I was no longer on Air temple island where I was now I didn't know but it appeared to be some sort of huge town that a lot of buildings with a giant clock tower appearing to be in the center of it and sky covered by perpetual twilight.
