banana fish - if it ended the way we wanted

chapter one - where we left off

Ash was running towards the airport because of the ticket Eiji had left him in the envelope. Along the way, someone tried to stab Ash but he easily dodged it. He was so determined to get there before Eiji left. He got there just in the nick of time. He spotted Eiji in a wheelchair and Ibe right beside him. "EIJI!" called ash. "Ash!" called Eiji. "I can't believe you came!" "I can't either, but when I was reading your letter, I had a gut feeling that I should go with you." said Ash, panting in between sentences. They boarded the plane as Eiji took the window seat, Ash took the middle seat, and Ibe sat on a different area of the plane. Eiji and Ash caught up as they hadn't seen each other for a bit. They were near the back and it was pretty empty, so they could talk loud if they needed. "Ash?" "Yeah?" "I wanted to ask about...the day you kissed me. why did you do it?" Said Eiji, stuttering a little. "Well...I...well.." Ash didn't want to continue the sentence. Just then, Eiji said, "Well, I'm not mad, I kind of liked it, even if it was sudden." Eiji said with a slight smile. Eiji then grabbed Ash's hand and interlocked  their fingers. Ash had a slight blush on his face. They didn't let go for almost the entire  plane ride, and only let go to eat or do something important.

When they got to Japan, they went straight to Eiji's house. His mother gave them a warm welcoming and led Ash and Eiji to Eiji's room. "Make sure you boys unpack everything!" Said Eiji's mother with a wide smile. "We will!" Said Eiji. They started to unpack and after everything was unpacked, they sat on eiji's bed. Ash suddenly stood up so Eiji did too. "Well, this is where you'll stay with me and my family for a wh-" "Eiji?" Said Ash, cutting Eiji's sentence off. "Yes?" "Can I...can I kiss you?" Said ash, his face as red as a tomato. "Yes..you can." Said Eiji. Ash then cupped Eiji's face with both of his hands and kissed him passionately. Eiji practically melted in to it. Their lips fit together like a puzzle piece. They were perfect. They broke apart after a few minutes. Eiji was practically longing for more so he couldn't help but lean into a second one. This one wasn't as long, but it was still magical. After that, they both embraced each other with their hearts content. "I love you, Ash" "I love you too, Eiji." They both let go of each other and lay down on the bed. Ash then wrapped his arms around Eiji and Eiji did the same. "Forever." Said Eiji. "Yes...Forever." Said Ash.
