I turned off my comms, transmatted back down to Settlement, and snuck into the infirmary.
Quickly making my way over to Lela's side, Wayne's voice could be heard approaching. As I drew my vanish in smoke bomb, I could hear Jackie stop Wayne from entering the infirmary.
Lela: "Raven?"
Raven: "Hi..."
Lela: "What are you doing back here? I thought Wayne exiled you?"
Raven: "I don't care."
I carefully lifted Lela out of her bed as she wrapped her arms around my neck.
Lela: "Where are we going?"
Raven: "The Last City."
I slowly walked back outside carrying Lela in my arms.
Lela: "Can we talk?"
As we transmatted into the ship, I slowly sat down in the pilot seat, cradling Lela in my lap. Stella took control of the ship and took off.
Raven: "What about?"
Lela: "I wish I said this sooner, and I wish I had more time to prove it and experience everything that we could have been."
Raven: "I know...I wish I would have said something or done something about it."
Lela: "You feel the same?"
Raven: "I do."
Lela: "Then say it with me."
I nodded as she smiled softly and rested her head on my chest.
I rested my hands on her thigh and shoulder lightly tapping my finger.
Raven/Lela: "I love you..."
Lela looked up to me and chuckled softly before sitting up and removing my helmet.
Lela: "You always had such beautiful eyes."

Raven: "Thank you, Lela."
I smiled happily as the Traveler started to come into view. Lela rested her head back on my chest watching as we grew closer and closer.
Lela: "It's massive, I knew the Traveler was big but, this is awe-striking."
Taking manual control of the ship. i piloted us under the Traveler and hovered under it.
Raven: "Ready?"
Lela nodded with a big smile as I opened the hatch and climbed atop the ship with her in my arms.
I watched in silence as Lela stretched her hand out to the Traveler.
Raven: "Raise the ship, Stella."
Stella: "Right."
The ship slowly ascended drawing us closer to the Traveler. Lela's breathing began to soften and turn ragged, telling me that her time was almost up.
