The Heir

Chapter ten

-One Month Later-

I sit on the hard chair waiting for my doctor and the xrays. I hope i walk agian, well i know i can but its uo to her if i stay in a wheelchair longer or not. I twiddle my thumbs, why is it so quiet in here? I then here the knob turn and my Doctor walks in.

"Well there is some brusing left in your back, but i think you can walk. Just walk with a cane for now to keep yourself steady." she says handing me a wooden can.

"Thank you very much." i say standing up putting full support on it. It's harder than it seems to walk. The first step was so painful that i saw black dots swim in my vision. I then took another which was less painful. I slowly walk out of the room and into the hallway.

I then see Rich talking to one of the maids. She is laughing and so is he. I get a pang of jelousy in my chest. I shack my head. He wont cheat on me, right? I mean i will never get to have children and a life with him like we talk about. So he might as well find someone new. I shack my head to get the bad thoughts out.

I start to walk past him when he notices me and says bye to her an comes to help me.

"Hello beatiful, I see you upgraded your ride." he chuckles as i give him a look. 

"Oh yeah totally, can you carry me to my room? I feel my back giving out." i whisper in between breaths.

"Sure." and he picks me up and i snuggle my head in his shoulder like i do everyother night.

When we walk up the stair we see dad.

"Is something wrong with her?" he panics running over to him messing up his tie.

"Father im fine i just was feeling faint and i was in pain walking for the first time in a month." i laugh attempting to fix his tie.

"Oh okay, I thought something happend to again." he says kissing my forehead and run to some meeting he has.

We walk up stairs to my room and he sets me on my bed and gives me my tray and paperwork.

"You are to good for me." I whisper looking at the first document.

"Who says that? You are so out of my legue." he chuckes moving aside my things to kiss me.

When we part i look into his deep blue green eyes.

"I love you." i whisper.

"i love you too." he whispers back. He then starts to kiss me with much force. God i wish i could stay like this forever. But life has other plans.
