Chapter fifteen

"May i have this dance?" The strange man asks.

"Yes if course my darling, anything for my husband." I laugh taking his hand and spinning on the dance floor.

I slowly wake to Rich getting in bed. He takes a deep breath and lightly touches my face as if he wants to remember it. I smile and lean in to kiss him. It was meant to be light but as soon as our lips touched a spark flew. He grabbed my face and roughly kissed me. He kissed me like this was going to be the last time we will kiss.

"Whats wrong?" I whisper as we take a break.

"Nothing, i just really love. Don't forget it ever, Promise?" He says sadly.

"I love you too and i will never forget." i whisper lightly.

"Good, now get some sleep." he says in my ear. I then slowly fall asleep in his arms nice an safe.

-next day-
Richard's POV

I wake before her. She is so peaceful asleep. I lightly kiss her noose and get up. As i walk to the kitchen i her a knock on the door. So i walk to the door and open it. Its the queen, but she is in common cloths.

"Yes i know I'm in common cloths but its all i had to wear. But anyway here is the medicine, it will make her very tired. Then on the fourth day call this number and we will pick her up." she smiles and walks back into the snow storm.

Just four days.

Four days i have left with her. My soul mate, best friend, my everything. I let out a tear not caring if its manly or not. Of all people Rich you had to fall for the Princess. Its your fault for kissing her that night. Then the next day and the next.

I take a shaky breath and look at the vial. I want her to have a good life. If that means giving up on her thats what i will do.

So i get the tea and pour some of the contents from the vial into her tea. I then walk to the bedroom were she is reading Romeo and Juliet. Her favorite.

"Awe thanks darling." she says kissing my cheek and drinking the tea.

"Its my day off, do you want to go grocery shopping with me? or do you have work?" she drinks the rest of the tea.

"i have work in an hour, sorry." i give a sad smile. She smiles and grab her bag and keys.

"Okay see you tonight, I might get coffee if we have enough money." She smiles and walks out our door.

I stand there. Why did she ever fall for me? Im just a common man with no money. She was a Royal and had all the money in the world. She gave that all up for me. I take a deep breath and get ready for work. Three day left and i may never see her again.
