Chapter Sixteen

Rich has been acting wierd ever since my mother left. Dose he think she can take me away from me? I will never leave him. He is my everything, I just hope he knows that. I grab a bag of rice, and chicken. I go down the vetigeble isle when i see a lady that looks like my mom but she is in common cloths like me.

"Hello Rose, how are you feeling?" Mother asks.

"Just fine, maybe alittle tierd." I spit at her. How dare she talk to me? She disowned me, and she think that she can win me back?

"Then you should go home and rest." she smiles and walks away.

I grab some carrots and corn. I count in my head how much everything is. Yes i have just enough to get coffee. So i grab a bag of coffee beans and walk to the cashier.

"Hello Evelyn, How are the kids?" I ask puuting the food down.

"They are doing just fine. Never have six children, they are a pain." She laughs.

"I only plan on three max." I laugh with her. "How much will it be today?" i ask taking put my wallet.

"Oh no, This two gave me money and said that its to pay for Rose." she shakes her hands.

"Oh really? A two gave you money for me?" I laugh.

"Yeah I know right, Must be charity season." she laughs. 

"Well thank you, and have good day." I say grabing my bag full of food.

I get home and put everything away. I look at the clock and it reads 3:30, Rich will be home by 4:00. I all of a sudden feel tierd. I go to bed and sleep.

-About an hour later-

"Rose wake up, Its time for dinner." Rich says shaking me. 

"Oh im so sorry, I just fell asleep." I say standing up, I then got dizzy. 

"Stay in here i will bring in the food to you." he chuckles leaving the bedroom.

Why am i so tierd? Maybe its the baby that is draining me. I smile and pat my stomache.

"I cant wait to get to know you fella. Just six more months." I whsiper just as Rich comes in with tea and rice stew.

"Yum thank you." i say as he turns on the tv. My family is doing a report tonight.

"Hello people of Illiea! My name is Sophie and i will be your host tonight." She smiles. "This the night were Princess Rose will be speaking about the inside drama about the selection. But right know we go to our wonderful King and Queen were they we be dinishing two more castes today." She says all giddy.

"Hello Sophie, and yes we will be taking away the 5th and 4th caste. And as percation if you have any trouble there will be poilce walking around tonight." He smiles.

"Very good, now we will go to the Princess and speak of the selection." She say moving to a set of chairs as "me" glides over to her. 

I turn off the tv before they start speaking.

"HOW DARE THEY REPLACE ME?" i yell.

"Honey calm down, Its just for show." he says rubbing my back.

"i going to sleep." i say turning away from him. Yes i miss being in the castle and yes i ranaway. But they have no right to replace me.
