Mula sa window ko dito sa apartment, sinilip ko ang house ni mamang police. Yesterday I saw him park his car in front of that huge house. I can still even see ngayon iyong black niyang car mula dito.

I nibbled my lips while I waited for him to go out from that house. Did he go na ba? Nag-work na ba siya? Did he use another vehicle to work? May lumabas pa namang red car diyan kanina.

I frowned nang malakas na tumunog ang phone ko. I rip my sight from the huge house in front of me at ibinaling iyon sa phone kong noisy. Nakaluhod akong umikot sa sofa at saka maayos na nag-sit. I turned off my phone's alarm annoyed. 

It's already eight in the evening. I'm an hour late sa trabaho ko kasi I'm waiting for mamang police. Pero baka day off niya ngayon. Maybe he wants to rest today. Napanguso ako sa dismaya at nahiga sa sofa. I looked up at the ceiling at muling na-imagine ang face niya last night. 

I have never met someone like him sa new life ko. His very arrogant and for some reason I got offended when he turned down my offer. It's not like I'm very dirty naman or may nakakahawa akong sakit. Kahit pokpok ako we make sure naman na I'm clean and protected. 

When he turned me down, I got really embarassed. Nobody ever did that to me. Almost every guy I met wants me in their bed.

Pero siya? He turned me down coolly.

He tole me he's courting someone daw. He told me he doesn't want to be involved in such indecency while he's courting someone. Whoever he's courting is surely lucy. He's handsome, cool, and loyal. Tapos he's a police pa. Me kaya? When kaya ako makakahanap ng guy like mamang police?

Gusto ko rin ng lalaking magliligtas sa akin. Gusto ko rin ng guy na mamahalin ako. Gusto ko rin ng tao na tatanggap sa akin despite... despite being like this. I badly want someone. Gusto ko rin ng kasama. I'm so sick of being alone.

Muling tumunog ang phone ko. I read the name ng caller at napabuntong hininga. Si Ching. I did not answer the call dahil I know na he's going to nag me lang. I don't like it when Ching is galit. He doesn't give me snacks kasi kapag mad siya. 

After lying there for a little more longer, I decided to head na sa bathroom para maligo and mag-prepare ng butt ko. 

And after doing my usual routine, I immediately went out of my apartment. Parang doon lang nag-sink in sa akin na I'm late na pala and I might lose my job. I can't afford to lose this job.

Because walang mga jeep na pumapasok inside dito sa village namin, Need ko pang mag-walk papunta sa entrance gate ng village. There are taxis naman na pumapasok here pero rare lang. Mostly kasi sa mga home owners at renters ng village ay may sariling cars. 

My senses where alert the whole I was walking sa daan. Despite the tight security here sa village, I can't feel safe after what happened last night. Feel ko someone will just jump on me from somewhere and do what that creepy guy did kagabi. 

I stopped nang ma-notice ko ang black na car na lumagpas sa akin. I looked back sa pinanggalingan ko at napakamot ng noo. Why am I waiting for him ba?  I'm done thanking him na. There's no need for me to act like this.
