What if Joaquin's plan went through because Chichay didn't meet up with Juliana and she went to social dance instead?

"Chichay come," Joaquin nervously said as he held out his hand and nodded at her to take after their P.E. class. Holding her hand, he led her through the crowds of students and started walking towards the bridge near the garden at Malaya University. He was acting all weird during P.E. and Chichay kept on catching him staring at her.

"Joaquin, where are you taking me?" Chichay asked, curious on what he was planning to tell her. She looked around nervously at the people who were staring at them then she shifted her gaze onto Joaquin's hand that was still holding hers. Butterflies started to flutter in her stomach as she realized how soft his and nice his hands were.

Joaquin turned his head around to look at Chichay and apprehenisively grinned as he let go of her hand and made her go in front of him to walk further ahead to turn the corner.

"You'll see in 3, 2, 1....."

All of a sudden a burst of color and pink took Chichay by surprise as they stopped in front of the bridge on campus. Flowers, balloons and more flowers appeared right in front of her. It was a scene right out of a romantic comedy movie. Bouquets of various flowers aligned along the bridge with pink balloons dangling from the trees. Feeling her knees weaken and her heart beat quickly, Chichay spun around to see Joaquin blushing while holding a bouquet of red roses in front in front of her.

"Joaquin. What is this?" Chichay asked, still in a daze as she kept on looking at the set up all around her.

Taking a deep breath, Joaquin nervously held out the bouquet in his hands towards Chichay. It was now or never.

"Chichay... You've opened me up and showed me a world that I never thought I would ever discover. I like you. More than a friend, and I want you to know how I feel and I hope you feel the same. Will you be my girlfriend?"

Speechless at his confession, Chichay did what her heart told her to do. She took the bouquet in Joaquin's hands, smelled the roses and timidly smiled at Joaquin as she watched his expression go from anxious to happy.

This was a start of something new.

"I want you in my arms. I see you in my dreams. I'm gonna make you mine, as crazy as it seems. Girl, you, yes you, yes you, I need someone just like you..."
