Chapter 2 - Part - 4

**Bailee's P.O.V**

It's been almost 5 months since I've last seen Zayn. Did I mention we're dating? Right before we left I asked him out, I've talked to him everyday, although the story's not the same for Michelle. Apparently Harry has been seen with a girl, and there are rumors he's dating her. Since they haven't gone public yet, the fans luckily don't know about Michelle. Louis and Payton are doing good, although Eleanor still hasn't given up trying to get with him. Oh yeah, Zayn called me last night and told me that they're performing at Madison Square Garden today! I was supposed to fly out and see them, but sadly I'm sick. Michelle and Payton are here with me. They're so great, I love knowing that I have friends that'll stay home and take care of me instead of going to see their boyfriends. Oh hey! I'm getting a FaceTime request! It's from Zayn!! 

"Hey Babe! How you feeling?" Zayn questioned me. 

"A lot better now that I see your face." I replied smiling. As soon as I said that I started having a coughing fit.  

"Woah, Babe, are you okay?" Zayn worriedly asked me. I couldn't reply, which made him even more worried.  

"Zayn, Bailee is going to have to call you later. I'm sorry, I'll let you know how she's doing in about 20 minutes or so, okay?" Michelle announced into the camera. 

"Okay. I love you." Zayn said under his breath before he hung up. I didn't hear him, and I don't think Michelle and Payton cod hear anything over my coughing.  

"Michelle, we need to take her to the hospital." Payton implied, pacing back and forth biting her lip.  

"Come on, help me lift her up." Michelle ordered.  

Before I knew it I was in a hospital bed, still coughing my lungs up. 

"Hello, I'm Doctor Craig. Woah, that's a mighty cough you've got there," Dr. Craig exclaimed looking through his papers, "Bailee right?" 

I tried to nod, but it didn't work, so Payton spoke for me. 

"Well," Dr. Craig started, "we know what's wrong with her. And since its December, I think she should stay here for a little bit."  

"Okay, but what's wrong with her?" Michelle requested anxiously. 

"I'm afraid she has pneumonia." Dr. Craig declared, causing my heart to sink. 

"Is there anything you can give her to calm her coughing?" Payton urged. 

"We have given her something, her coughing should subside within an hour." Dr. Craig responded.  

While all this was going on, the only thing I thought about was Zayn. How worried he'd seemed before we had to stop face timing. I was just as worried about him.  

My coughing eventually stopped, and the first thing I did was call Zayn. 

"Bailee! How're you doing?" Zayn beseeched worriedly. 

"I'm okay, and I found out what's wrong with me." I responded weakly. 

"Tell me in a minute, I gotta go, sorry babe." Zayn uttered before hanging up. Great, my own boyfriend doesn't even have time to worry about me. As if it was bad enough being in the hospital already. 

"Hey, I'm going to go to the cafeteria, you want anything?" I heard Michelle ask Payton. 

"A vanilla coffee. That's all, thanks." Payton responded. 

"What about you, Bailee?" 

"No thanks, my throat's to sore right now."  

"You sure you don't want some water or something like that?" Michelle asked before strutting out the door. At least I have my friends here for me. 

"Hey Babe." I heard a voice say. 

I looked over to see none other than Zayn, standing in the door to my room. 

"Zayn!" I exclaimed. 

"Sorry babe. I wanted to surprise you by coming here, but the fans were screaming in my ears, and I didn't want you to hear any of that." Zayn apologized. 

"It's okay babe, as long as you're here now."  

"So, I talked to the doctor, pneumonia huh?" Zayn asked disbelievingly. 

"Yeah." 

"Well I'll stay here with you until you feel better. I'll stay for an entire month if I have to."  

"Zayn, why would you do that? What about work?" I asked confused. 

"I already talked to management, I have to go to work an hour a day, but that's it. And I'm staying here with you for one reason." 

"And that is?" I urged 

"I love you." Zayn declared as Payton gasped.
