Jack point of view
I smiled looking at the pictures of babies on my laptop screen.
Soon I am going to be dad. I hope Alice remembers everything.
Looks like she gone too far from me. She doesn't remember me. She sees me has a stranger.
She feels awkward in front of me like she sees me for the first time. Ofcourse she lost her memory. How can she remember me ?
A tear rolled in my eyes.
I seen her on bed sleeping peacefully. I closed the laptop and got on bed and pulled the blanket on me and turned my head to Alice.
I slowly about to touch her face. Suddenly alice opened her eyes. She got shocked and quickly got up.
" W_hat... Are you doing here ? " She asked shockingly pulling the blanket closer to her. I got up.
" I... Just... " Before I complete.
" I.... Won't sleep on same bed with you " Alice said in fear.
" Fine... Fine " I said and got down of the bed. I seen Alice suddenly started breathing heavily.
" Alice... Relax. In... Past we use to sleep together so... " I am about to go to her.
" I AM NOT THAT ALICE !!! " Alice yelled in tears. I got shocked. I stood still.
" I... Still don't remember anything. I..know you care for me. I know you are trying your best to make me remember. I know you are making me comfortable. Even we are husband and wife you are still a stranger to me" Alice said in tears.
Small tears rolled in my eyes.
" Ok... Ok....I get it. Don't stress yourself you are carrying a baby " I said controlling my tears.
Alice looked down at her stomach and placed her hand on belly.
" I... Am sorry. I... Am sorry " Alice started to cry.
She is breaking herself from inside. I have to make my distance from her. I turned and about to leave the room.
" Please... Make me remember everything Mr. Jack " Alice said.
Alice just called my name.
I turned to her. Alice looked at me helplessly. I quickly got seated on bed.
" I... Can't able to leave like this. I.. can't hurt myself like this and hurt this little one in my belly " Alice said in tears.
That's all tears appeared in my eyes. I quickly hold her face in my hands.
" I am here. I am here for you. I am here for you both "
Alice crying badly. I pulled her into a tight hug.
" It's fine if you don't remember " I said rubbing her hair. Suddenly I felt her hands around my back.
She hugged me. I pulled her more closer.
It's better if she don't remember her past. Her past contains all the nightmare memories that she can't able to take all at once.
Her mom's issue, That bastard Joseph, Me being a play boy, her rape, the Catherine thing.... Everything in her past contains a bad memory. I don't want her to remember all that.
I will make sure I will make her remember only our memories together.
Our wedding, the first kiss, the confession, the kitchen kiss, the London scenery kiss.
