Looking back when I was a child, I had always wondered what it meant to create your own world. This thought made me embrace myself and encourage me to make an impact on my actions. I was happy.

Mother said I was a dreamer.

Yes, a dreamer.

I enjoyed exploring a fictitious imagination that transcends reality. But that was then.

Everything collapsed the moment I realized how different my identity was from others.

This is the 'me' now.

"...the procedure arrived... with an acceptable alternative... so in fact...," Ashley stood in front at the stage elevation. She was reporting their last group activity.

A case study in a major biology subject was a very important group activity. However, an odd one was never included in any groups. That person is me.

Ashley Rosan has finished her reporting and strode confidently towards her sit.

My eyes reflexively followed where she went to. She was a natural Queen Bee. Kind. And beautiful. And pretty. And I was so into her.

"Next. Finish your preparations in 10 seconds," the rigid professor announced.

Ashley turned at me. I was taken aback and realize all eyes were on me. Even the professor looked annoyed.

With reddened cheeks, I dragged my embarrassed self up.

"Ah! Sir, it's my turn," I said.

The professor did not react at all. I was at a loss on what to do. Scolding myself mentally, I went to the stage and brought my laptop in a haste.

"Zia Williams. Ten seconds is up. You can start now."

Before I could even reach the stage, the professor suddenly announced this and sat. I strumbled in my steps and almost dropped the laptop.

"Pff-," a laugh escaped from a particular student who forgot to clamp his mouth. Everyone was on the verge of laughing along with him.

It made me sick. All the pressure, embarrassment, and negativity was coming into me.

"Excuse me, sir. Maybe Zia would like to enter our group. We would gladly accept her," some students said with a mocking tone. Everyone else in that group also agreed.

But my mind was already far away. I could not process their words at all. EVERYTHING.

Everything was difficult. Life was a horror for me. This reality even proved more how hostile society is from the likes of me, a freak.

A freak.

A guy living as a girl.

A freak.

The only living heir of a famous company yet never living life as an heir.

A freak.

Never fitting in any gender.

A freak.

Studying a course at a prestigious university that does not suit me at all.

A freak.

"Miss Zia, would you like to start now. A minute already passed. Or do you wanna join another group?" inquired the professor.

"Miss Zia," he repeated.
