The slime had attacked the boy, trying to take his body over, when I stepped in. Finishing it with one of my Famous punches, I dropped the boy off at UA. Before I left, he asked me a question, one that I hadn't expected.
"Can I become a hero?" He asked. "Of course I replied, anyone can with enough hard work." I replied, not really paying attention to the boy.
I was again about to leave when he asked me a second question, and this time I payed attention.
"Even if I'm quirkless?" He asked his hopes up. I looked at him, with pity.
What he must have gone through, as a quirkless in a quirk based society, but still the truth was the truth, better bitter honest then lying to the kid.
Or at least I thought.
"No, I'm afraid not, without a quirk you will never be able to become a hero's, it's impossible those with quirks will Always have an advantage over you."
"Better to be a police officer or something, they do more good then hero's anyway." I said leaving.
When he heard those words, izuku's sanity shattered. The number one hero, his biggest idol told him he couldn't do it. And without a second thought, he jumped.
