HEATHER'S POV

It's 7 A.M and the sound of my alarm clock woke me from my state of lethargy . today is the first day of 12th grade , oh sorry I almost forgot to introduce myself . hi my name is Heather grey ,I'm 16 , I have a little sister her name is Liv she's 12 ,my mom Louisa works as a nurse in the community hospital and I barely see her anymore because she's always working ,my dad passed away when I was 6 , and believe me you do not wish you were heather.

Making my way through the school's corridor the first people I saw was the school's basic bitches, they were three , their names was Megan , Bethany and Audrey . Megan is a short and skinny girl with blue eyes , Bethany the worst of the three is a brunet with long dark hair and grey eyes ,she was also super tall and Audrey was  a skinny blond with wavy shoulder length hair and green eyes she was the school's star runner. they were pretty cute , too bad their personalities were the polar opposite of cute. walking pass them I could hear their annoying laughs ,they sounded so fake .

I let out a sign of relief when I saw my only best friend Corry coming my way . We've been best friends since kindergarten . Corry was 6 foot tall, had curly hair, light skin, he had grey eyes and had braces .

After joining me, Corry and I made our way to sociology class with Mrs Adil, this class was hell it basically consisted only of taking down notes and memorising .God I hate memorizing. lunch came by quicker than I expected it to . the moment that I dread so much came. I've had trouble keeping in shape lately . I knew that the cafeteria's food wasn't healthy at all ,so I decided that skipping lunch isn't a big deal . I texted Corry to meet me at the bleachers . Once Corry came we sat down and I took out my new book named "Blackout" my mom bought and started reading it ,it was a pretty good book.

CORRY'S POV

Heather texted me to meet her at the bleachers . I picked my food at the cafeteria and made my way directly there. Heather was waiting for me on the first row .  We sat down and she took out her book and started reading. I found the fact that she wasn't eating a little suspicious so I asked her about it, " yeah those oily food at the cafeteria aren't the best option for me right now. i'm trying to lose all the weight I've put on during the holidays. so I'm skipping lunch today. its no biggie . ill start packing my own lunch as from tomorrow " was her reply. losing weight? what is she talking about ? .I don't think she did put on any but whatever. I told her to at least have some cheese crackers to which she vigorously denied . I knew something was very wrong with her because she would never deny cheese crackers which was her absolute favourite snacks . I had a feeling that something was up with her but decided to let it go as she was probably going through hard times , her mom worked all summer and they barely spent time together . I decided that the best thing to do was to stay by her side and not asking or talking about the holidays . " hey heather you know I am here whenever you need me right" I told her , she gave me her signature affiliate smile and said "yes Corry I know ".
