I woke up in a daze I didn't know what was going on, at this point all I really remember Is hitting a blunt n drinking with some dude I met last night. I felt around trying to understand where I was n felt sheets so I sit up to look around I was in a room I didn't even recognize so at this point I was confused and concerned "fuck" I saying to myself. My head hurts so bad I just want to sleep more but not here where I don't even know where I am.
"Aye you okay over there" some dude said with his morning voice
"I- where am I"
"My room I'm ruby remember"
I think back to last night "oh yeah I'm sorry I just don't remember much from last night" he sits up turns on his light lighting up the dark room because of his blackout curtains. "oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you last night you fell asleep after a few drinks n I couldn't find Parker anywhere so me and scrim moved you to my bed"
"Oh damn I guess Parker left with some girl last night, I can get an Uber home though so uh thanks for letting me stay" I searched around the room for my shoes n couldn't find them
" there over there" he points " and I can give you a ride home n some food in you I know your hungry" he slides on a hoodie n it matched perfectly with his black gym shorts, he slides on some slides that have FTP on them and grabs his keys, wallet and phone.
" oh okay" I slide on my vans and grab my bag and follow him out the room. We make it from downstairs and meet scrim and the rest of the boys in the living room I guess they where doing a work.
"Ayeeeee v!" Scrim says placing his laptop next to him and getting up to greet me with a hug
"Good morning" I say hugging back
"Aye so ima take her to get some food and then home so I'll be back later" ruby tells the group
"Well violet you should come back with oddy so we can all hang ya kno" kev says with a smile at the end
" uhmm sure I have nothing better to do, plus I think Parker is at work" i agreed to coming back with ruby to hang out more while Parker is working plus I didn't wanna be alone today.
"Ight guys we'll be back later" we say bye and walk out the house.
"Ight where you wanna eat" ruby says while we are waiting for the light to turn blue
" uhmm I don't know. I'm not picky" he looked at me with an 'are you sure' face " I'm serious you can pick I won't freak"
"Okay so I get to pick.." he asked to assure himself " how about chuck fil a" he looked at me with a smile that could kill
" that's fine" I look away from him because I didn't wanna stare to much.
"So are you from around or have you just moved here recently" he asked still focused on the road
" I'm from Florida, I met Parker when i was about 15 and ever since then we where never seen apart, ya know"I fiddle with my fingers as I think about my past with Parker.
" yeah I understand that how me n Scott are, inseparable." He looked over at me for a slight second and back to the road
" I've lived here for about 2 years now" I continue with our conversation "I really like it, totally different" I look over at him waiting for a response but he didn't say anything, silence filled the car
We drove for a few minutes later and then pulled into chick fil a " we made it" ruby says stopping the car in a parking space.
" anything. In mind of what you want" he asked as we walked to the door
"Maybe chicken nuggets" I say walking into the door he is holding open for me
We stand in a long line shoulder to shoulder watching out surroundings "you wanna take out are chill here?" He says looking down at me with his big eyes
"Can we eat in the car?" I say with a smile
"Ion usually let people eat in my car but yes for you" he replied
"Oh your to kinda". We order our food n wait a little for then to serve it to us once we get out bag of food we head to go eat in the car.
" hey don't drop anything ight girl" he says looking me in my eyes.
