"Can I go to Aaron's party tonight?" Liz asked from Alex while we had breakfast. Noel recently went up to his room.
"Shouldn't you focus on learning?" He asked.
"I wouldn't go alone." She said.
"Your friends aren't trustworthy. They also drink. They won't take care of you if there's a problem." He said.
"Don't talk about my friends like that." She said indignantly.
"I haven't really met them yet when they're sober." He said.
"We just have fun!" She said indignantly.
"I want to go too." I said shyly.
"You mainly can't go!" He said in a raised voice.
"Why not?" I asked.
"I said that yesterday. This world is dangerous." He said seriously. I stood up angrily.
"I'm drowning here." I growled and I went to the living room.
I sat down angrily on the couch. I planned to call Jason because he was the only one who I could talk to normally, but someone cleared her throat. Liz stood in the doorway with a smile. I frowned.
"You did this well." She said admiringly. "He let us." I smiled. "Be ready at seven p.m.! Dress like yesterday in the restaurant. I don't want you to expire me." She said and disappeared. I looked at her offended. I can't believe I really went into this idea.
Later Noel begged me to play with him so much that I didn't have heart to say no. I went into the kitchen a few minutes before seven o'clock to wait for Liz there. I wore a little more makeup.
"Is this dress again?" Alex asked.
"Liz told me to I should wear this." I said.
"Of course, Liz said that. Only she can say such things." He said and turned his head toward the door, and it seemed he shocked. I looked where he did. Liz stood there in a deeply cleaved mini black dress and ten-inch high-heeled shoes. She wore strong smoky makeup. She looked much better than me.
"I'm ready!" She protested.
"Go up immediately and change your clothes!" Alex said angrily.
"No." She said and folded her arms.
"Then you aren't going anywhere." He said.
"Do you want to bet?" She asked and raised her eyebrow.
"Don't be naughty! Go up and change or you won't be Juliet!" She looked at me, turned around and go up to the stairs. The heels of her shoes knocked on the stairs.
"By the way, you needed to say where you were on Thursday because I called you." Alex said after a while.
"I'm sorry! I forget." He sighed and shook his head.
"Is this good?" Liz appeared about ten minutes later in a pink strap silk blouse and in a black-ripped-jeans with the same shoes.
"Much better." She rolled her eyes.
"Let's go!" He said. "You will drink one type of alcoholic beverage with a maximum of three glasses. No more! Don't drink beverage which won't open in front of you! Don't smoke and especially don't take drugs! I'll go for you no later than ten." Alex explained the terms in the car.
"It's too little time." Liz whined.
"I think just enough time to have fun and not be drunk. Any objection?" He said.
"No." I said.
"Yes." Liz said at the same time. We looked at each other for a moment.
"Alright." She sighed. "No." She said.
