Thirty-fourth chapter

I watched people throughout the ceremony. My mom and William weren't here. Noel smiled at me, but I was only looking for Liz with my gaze whom I hadn't seen anywhere. Felipe squeezed my hands sometimes that it would be good to pay attention to him because that's why we're here. He smiled at me and I smile too but my smile wasn't honest. He frowned because he didn't know why I was so nervous.

"Does anyone have any objection to these two young people getting married here and now? This person has to speak now or listen forever." The priest said.

"I protest!" Liz shouted and walked closer to us. Oh, no! Everyone looked at her. "Amanda! I don't know how or when it started but I love you too." She said and two guards grabbed her arm and took her out of the room. "Put me down!" She screamed. Alex, who wasn't far from me, left the room.

"Marcus!" I heard Felipe's voice, but I didn't hear what he said to Marcus. I was just looking at the door where Liz appeared. "Hey!" He whispered and squeezed my hands. I looked at him. "They take her to your room. I take care of it. Will you be my wife and keep such things from me?" He shook his head. "By the way she is pretty." He whispered with a smile. I smiled too.

"Can we continue?" We looked at the priest and we nodded. "Thanks god!" He said and he continued his speech. "Now kiss the bride." He said. I looked at Felipe in fright who smiled and leaned over my lips and pretended to kiss me.

"Now that we were married, we would have a proposal to amend the law." Felipe said loudly. Everyone watched him in silent. "Princess." He said and smiled.

"We want a free marriage where anyone can marry anyone in a royal family." I said. Everyone looked surprised.

"What's the point of it? You both married." One of the nobles said.

"If this law passed, we can divorce in this moment." Felipe said.

"I support it!" Noel screamed.

"Thank you but we need permission from politicians. Have you seen before the film which called The Princess Diaries?" Some people nodded. "We had to get married so we could change this law. Please think about how much better it is for us to be married than not. Chasing two young people into unhappiness is not the best solution especially since they don't even love each other and never will." Felipe said.

"Romeo and Juliet." I whispered.

"Huh?" Felipe whispered.

"Romeo and Juliet were separated. Juliet didn't want to marry someone she didn't love. She even died. It was five hundred years ago. Should it be now?" I asked.

"I support it!" Someone stood up. "I have two daughters. I don't want to ruin anyone's happiness."

"I support too!" George said.

"George?" I asked.

"I'm sorry princess! Paul sent me to see how you stand for your duties. To be honest you will be a great queen." He said. I smiled.

"I see that we have a two-thirds majority." Felipe said with a smile. "We can divorce." He said and took the ring from his hand and gave it to me. "I still have one thing to do." He said and winked. "Go to your room!" I nodded and I started walking out.

"Yes!" I heard Marcus' shouted. I turned and saw they kissed each other.

"We are getting married now." Felipe said loudly and they stood in front of the priest who looked them questioningly.

I walked out the room and I went up the stairs to my bedroom where a cried-eyed Liz stood by the window who had a red handprint on her face. In front of her was an angry James who is looked at Alex. What the hell is going on?

"Finally, here is my only straight daughter. I'm so proud of you." Alex said and hugged me.

"Let me go!" I said in a serious voice.

"Anything you want." He said with a smile. I walked over to Liz, who looked at me in fright, but she didn't move.

"Did Alex do this?" I whispered. She slowly nodded. I stroked her face carefully where Alex hit her. She closed her eyes. "Alex you're fired!" I said without looking at him.

"What? Why?" He asked.

"You hurt my lover." I said. Liz opened her eyes and looked at me.

"You have a husband!" He said indignantly.

"Amanda! You should sign the divorce paper. What happened?" Felipe appeared in a doorway and looked at us.

"Alex hit her. Can you tell Paul that Alex won't work here anymore?" I asked.

"Who is Paul?" He asked. I rolled my eyes. I forget he didn't know him.

"You can't do it. You are my daughter." Alex said

"Liz is your daughter too." I said angrily.

"She is no longer my daughter anymore." I saw she trembled. "You need to choose. Me or her?" He looked at me with a narrowed-eyes. I looked at Liz, who was staring at the nose of her shoes with her head down. I reached under her chin and raised her head. I bent down and I kissed her gently as if her existence could cease at any moment. After I did it, I hugged her, and she hugged me back tightly.

"Is that enough evidence who I want to choose?" I asked. He looked at me angrily.

"I will never want to see you again. Move out!" He said in a raised voice the last sentence to Liz and he walked out. Liz started to cry loudly clinging to my dress.

"Liz you can move to us." James said.

"I don't want to be a party jerk, but I need you. The crowd is raging down there." I looked at Felipe angrily. "I guess I can still wait five minutes." He said and walked out. "Hurry please!" He said finally. I looked at James who understand what I want so he walked out too, and he closed the door. I stroked Liz's hair.

"Hey darling!" She looked at me with her deep blue eyes. "I'm so sorry about what happened!" She shook her head.

"It's not your fault. It's mine." She said. I leaned her and kissed her. She kissed me back.

"Nothing is your fault. Love isn't a mistake. Cheese eater monster." She smiled faintly. "Have I told you how much I love you?" I asked with a smile. She shook her head. "I love you so much."

"I love you too." She said and we kissed each other again and again. She grabbed my waist with her hands, and she started pushing towards the bed, but I stopped her.

"I would also like to but I have to go down." I said.

"Sure?" She asked but she didn't let me go.

"Yeah. Are you coming?" She let me go and I started to walk to the door.

"No! I will be here. Alone." She said seductively. I turned to her. "Maybe without this dress." She bit her lips and she began to push the right strap of her dress while she looked at me. I moaned.

"I am in a hurry." I said. She shrugged and sat down the bed.

"I'm waiting for you here." She said with a grin. What are you doing to me Liz?

Specifically, I ran down the stairs without the shoes which I left in my room. I quickly signed the papers and I would like to set off.

"Wait! Aren't you staying for our wedding?" Felipe asked.

"I would like to but..." I started but he interrupted me.

"Wedding night hah?" He asked. I blushed. "Go! Don't miss it. We understand." I smiled and I walked to the most beautiful girl who I could ever met.
