BEYOND THE CLOUDS

CHAPTER TWO

Danny's POV
After school, before doing anything else, I went straight to the computer to browse on the spirits of light and darkness even though I knew it was a dumb idea but I got no information. I bowed my head in frustration, I didn't want to believe that what I had seen was all a dream or something.
I stood at the window and looked up into the bright clouds and for some reason, I felt I belonged somewhere there. I soon felt two warm hands rest on my shoulder and when I turned back it happened to be my dad
“what's wrong dear.... why do you have that look on your face” he asked me as he pinched my cheek
“Dad what's beyond those clouds?”
“well scientists have shown us that out there is a dark mysterious place called outer space” dad replied me
“why then do I feel as though there's more out there” I asked as  I looked up at the clouds again and this time it seemed as if the clouds had formed a smiling face.

Gwen's POV
I got to the demon's hut which has always been a hangout spot for demons and also a mini entertainment house.
The moment I came in, the whole  place went still. Every voice ceased as all eyes stopped on me. I scanned the room in search of one person who was Diya and  soon I spotted the blonde haired girl seating at one of the tables at the far end of the room
“Diya, come here” I ordered and she obeyed
“the dark master has asked to see you” I told her and together we left the room.
We had not gone too far when I and told her
“actually, the master isn't calling for you”
“then why did you call me out here?” she asked as a frown formed on her face
“give me the keys to the dark chamber” I said as I stretched out my hand
“why? The dark master has not ordered me to give the keys to anyone” she replied with confidence as she stepped closer as though she could actually beat me if we got into a fight
“yes but I'm asking you for it now and I'm superior to you” I told her
“no way, I answer only to the master and his orders were that no one should go in there” she replied before turning to leave but I dragged her throwing her across into a rock
“if you won't give me then I'll take it forcefully” I said before using my power on her roughly, making her unconscious. Then I laid her body in an abandoned cave but only after I had taken the keys.

Jeff's POV
During lunch, I went into the school’s bathroom and locked myself in a cubicle then I used my powers to create a dark mirror through which I monitored Danny and indeed i found out that she really was alive and in another school somewhere in another town
“wow, so you are running away now aren't you?..... you are tied of fighting the forces of darkness and you think you can run now?”
I said as I observed her through the mirror.
“who's in there?” I heard someone say from behind the door so I snapped my fingers making the mirror disappear before adjusting myself and coming out to meet the janitor looking at me suspiciously but I just gave him a smile and walked off hoping he hadn't seen the smoke from the dark mirror.

Danny's POV
I saw myself in a white gown with two enormous white wings flapping behind me with a golden sword in my left hand and a shield in my right.
I was in the midst of people dressed in a similar and suddenly some in front yelled
“attack”
The whole army charged towards an opposing army dressed in black while I just followed but in confusion. I soon heard clashing of swords around me and arrows swiftly passing me, then a guy in black approached me but I couldn't see his face clearly
“at last Danny, this is your day of doom” he said raising his sword probably in preparation to strike me
“what! who are you? what's going on here?” I asked in terror but he didn't reply then I closed my eyes awaiting death but nothing happened. I opened my eyes to meet myself on my bed in my room then I realised it was all just a dream but for some reason, I was sweating and my heart was beating extremely fast.
I glanced at the clock and realised it was already 5:55am so I hopped out of bed to take a shower.
