((Hey guys! I'm so so sorry this took so long! I tried to make this fast, so it might not be super awesome .-. I've been really busy lately so I've been trying my hardest to write. Also, I know that in my bio it says my name is science-nerd. It's not anymore I changed it but I can't change my bio, due to the same problem as to why I can't comment. Thanks for telling me how to make italics though! :3 Coming up in few chapters, I'm going to need to insert a person. I don't know who so I'm going to pick an person you comment! Just tell me a name, appearance, and mutant ability. Have fun! Thanks for reading and have an awesome day/night! The•Chipped•Teacup ))

Evelyn's POV

It was rather boring just sitting and reading. Everyone still felt guilty for their previous actions, so they kept quiet. Darwin and Alex decided to start playing pinball to pass the time. The only thing that could be heard throughout the room was the clinging of metal and laughing both from the pinball machine. "Woah!" Alex awed in how well he was doing. Darwin laughed and watched in disbelief. "All right! All right! Jesus, man, your killing me!" Alex just chuckled in response. "Don't beat yourself up, I've had a lot of spare time!" He replied.

Chuckling from the large window brought us out of our thoughts. Two laughing CIA agents stood outside the window pointing. Argh, why must we be surrounded by morons? "I didn't know the circus was in town!", they joked, "Come on honey, show us a little wing action!" They pointed at Angel and moved their hands in a wing motion. Seeing she wasn't responding, they moved on to Hank. "No? Come on, let's see the foot!" Hank hung his head in embarrassment and anger. I saw their attentions then turn to me. "How 'bout some snow, ice princess?" They shot their hands out like they were shooting out snow. I scowled and walked up to the button to pull down the blinds. They groaned in response.

All of us sat silently, remembering the cruel side of our abilities. I hate humans. They are nothing compared to us mutants...but. I sighed. I don't know what has gotten into me lately. Before I came here I believed that humans should be wiped out from existence. So that the mutants could rise to power and conquer. However, I've been rethinking it, and I don't think they should be eliminated. Isn't there a chance that we could coexist? I shook off the thought and returned to the melancholy room. "They're just guys being stupid." Raven reassured us. Angel somewhat glared back and Raven. "Guys being stupid, I can handle ok? I've handled that my whole life. But I'd rather a bunch of guys stare at me with my clothes off than the way these ones stare at me." Excuse me? Just you? "At us." I snapped. Angel's not the only one with problems, and she needs to realize that.

WHOOSH! "What was that?" Raven questioned. Even I'm puzzled by this. It sounds almost like someone in the air from place to place. If that makes sense. "I don't know. Something doesn't feel right." Darwin replied. He's right, something definitely doesn't feel right. Wait. Could it be? Oh god no! It can't! Hank pressed the button to reopen the blinds. I could hear faint screaming from above us. What the hell is going on?! The screaming came closer and closer. THUD. "Ahhh!" Raven screamed in terror. The CIA agent that showed us the facility, now lie dead in front of the window. I stood, frozen in shock. How could that monster do this! This man didn't do anything!

Many agents ran outside, trying to find the murderer. One turned to us. "Get back! Do not leave that room! Were under attack!" As I assumed, one of Shaw's companions teleported from man to man, brutally killing each one. "Shoot! Shoot!" We yelled towards him. But once he turned it was too late. We can't stay here! We have to get out now! "Come on let's get out of here!" I instructed. Frantically barging through the door, we were only met by more CIA agents holding us back. "Get back!" They yelled at us. Why are they giving US orders?! We can actually stop these madmen and they're telling us to stay! "We can help! We can help!" We reassured them. BOOM! A large explosion out of nowhere blocked out our chance of escape.

Rushing back in the room I looked everywhere, trying to search for another escape. I turned my head to the side window to see a tornado coming for Cerebro. That's why they were here! They know we're recruiting! We all watched as Hanks beautiful invention crumble to pieces by the pressure of the tornado. All his work, destroyed. The windows surrounding us shattered to pieces. Everything slowly became quiet. Then a voice was heard behind the door. "Wait! You want the mutants? They're right through that door! Just let us normal people go! We're no-" THUD. Why? Why is this happening!

I stood my ground in front of the group. I have to protect them at all costs. I promised him...and I can't let him down! Shaw smoothly appeared walking through the door with his red friend. The tornado guy walked through the broken window and stood by his side as well. For some reason he had this stupid looking metal helmet on. It made him look like a beetle or something. "Aw isn't it little Evelyn Lensherr, isn't this a surprise?" He joked. I clenched my teeth and my knuckled turned even whiter (If that's even possible *shoulder shrug*). His face turned slightly serious. "Where is the telepath?" Shaw asked his henchman. "Not here." The red devil replied. Shaw shrugged his shoulders. "Too bad. At least I can take this silly thing off." He took off his beetle helmet and handed it to the tornado guy.

He walked closer with a smile on his face. You'll never fool them Shaw. They know better than to join you, you sick bastard! "Good evening. My name is Sebastian Shaw. And I'm not here to hurt you." He watched their faces and they listened. Trying to find an unsure look to reel into his clutches. "Freeze!" A CIA agent yelled from outside. "Azazel." Shaw spoke. In seconds Azazel teleported to him and killed him where he stood. Shaw's attention turned back to us. He nodded his head toward me. Azazel suddenly grabbed me, pulled me back from the group, and covered my mouth with a cloth.

Thankfully he didn't teleport, which really surprised me. Shaw only let people live if he had a purpose for them in his game. What is he planning for me? "My friends, there is a revolution coming. When mankind discovers who we are, what we can do, each of us will face a choice. Be enslaved or rise up to rule. Choose freely, but know that if you are not with us, then, by definition, you are against us. So you can stay, and fight for the people who hate and fear you. Or you can join me, and live like kings." He looked down at Angel, who stared back in uneasiness. "Or queens." Oh shit no! Not Angel! I watched in horror as she reached out and grabbed his offering hand. They began to walk out of the room and out of the window.

"Angel?" Darwin said in complete disbelief. "Are you kidding me?" Sean muttered angrily. Azazel let me go and I ran back to what was left of the group. "Come on. We don't belong here. And that's nothing to be ashamed of." Angel shakily told us, on the verge of tears. I heard whispering behind me between Alex and Darwin. "Come on, we have to do something!" Darwin whispered. I felt them shift around and saw Darwin walk up to Shaw. Wait what is he doing?! "Stop! I'm coming with you!" Shaw turned towards Darwin and smirked. "Good choice. So tell me about your mutation." He demanded. Darwin shrugged. "Well I adapt to survive. So I guess I'm coming with you." Shaw smiled lightly back at him. "I like that." What did Alex and Darwin plan exactly?

"Alex!" Darwin grabbed Angel, changed his skin, and protected her. "Get down!" Alex created his energy rings and flew them towards Shaw. No! If only they knew! Shaw grabbed the energy just in time and squeezed it into a small sphere. Azazel pulled Darwin off of Angel and shoved him back up, facing Shaw. "Adapt to this." He growled. "No!" I dashed towards Shaw but it was too late. Darwin stood there desperately trying to adapt to the surging energy. Instead of running into Shaw I was held back by someone. I looked down at the red hands that held me. "Let me go you sick bastard!" I yelled at Shaw. I struggled trying to get out of the devils grip, but it was too strong.
I look to see Darwin all solid rock. Please! Darwin hang in there! I can't loose anyone else please! He reached out his hand to Alex, and then crumbled to nothing. Shaw walked up to me with a stupid grin on his face. "Y-you sadist! How dare you!" I screamed in his face. He only chuckled in return. "Tsk, tsk. I taught you better than that Evelyn. In fact, here's another lesson."

I watched him pull out a syringe with purple fluid. I still tried and tried to get out of Azazels strong grip, but it was futile. I glared at Shaw with every bit of anger I had. He pulled up the syringe and quickly injected it into my arm. "Don't get in my way." My vision blurred as Azazel let me go and walked over back to their group. I collapsed on the ground. They disappeared in seconds. I felt someone touch my shoulder."Evelyn hang on! Come o-" All of a sudden, my world went black.
