I scanned the words on the screen of my laptop as I read each word becoming more and more curious about what his theory is. He thinks that people with silver-eyes are somewhat royal blood vampires. This man is crazy. Not only that silver eyes are vampires he even says that they can change color from silver to light red to crimson red.

I felt a cold breeze and looked at the window and walked over to close it. “Weird, I’m sure I closed it when I entered my room.” Right after, I turned around and saw someone standing in front of my laptop facing me.

“I’ve finally found you. It’s time to go home princess.” I looked in confusion and fear at the person and saw blood-red eyes looking at me. I couldn’t see who it was but I’m sure that right now I believe in vampires.

“What are you talking about!? I’m home already! This is my home and I’m no princess!” I backed away from him little by little as he/she is getting closer to me.

“You will understand once you are home.” He reached out his hand to grab me then I suddenly remembered another thing.

“Welcome home, Little Elizabeth. We’ll be staying her for a long time together.” A tall man knelt down to me patting my head.

“Sister! You’ve finally arrived.” Someone maybe 10 years old ran to me and hugged me.

I blacked out and the next thing I knew is that I was in a dark room filled with red curtains hanging from the ceiling tied up to a chair. I surveyed the room trying to look for a way out then suddenly a man came inside.

Starting to tug on the ropes I tried to get lose from the ties but it started to hurt me instead.

“Ahh, our precious little vampire princess is awake.” The man said staying in the shadows lighting up where I am. “Don’t try to escape little princess. Oh, wait, you’re all grown up now. Maybe Queen is the right word to say now.”

“Where am I? Who are you.” I asked glaring at him with blood-shot eyes gritting my teeth wanting to know why he wants me.

“Who I am is nothing you have to know since I’m guessing that you might already know who I Am.” I just had a confused look on my face as I didn’t know who he was and he just continued. “Where you are? Let’s just say you are still in your room and not at home.”

“What do you want with me!? Just let me go. I’m no use to you ‘cause I don’t have my memories 10 years ago!” I shouted at him in anger.

“Our beloved king wants to see his little sister once again but maybe it isn’t the time for you to meet until you remember.” Calmly answering every question I ask him, he just looks at me.

“King? Sister? What are you talking about!? I’m just an average human living with my parents!” Thrashing some more I hurt myself even more.

“You don’t have to know yet. But you will understand once you remember.”

“The answers I’m looking for is with you.” I asked in confusion of his nice attitude even if he just kidnapped me but he just shakes his head on the second sentence.

“You are not ready to learn everything about us but time will come when all will be revealed to you. Will you come and find me once you remember your past from 10 years ago?”

“Though, I am confused, I will think about it.” He smiled at my response then a flashback came into my mind.

A young boy maybe just 5 years old ran up to me giving me some flowers smiling. “Eli, Happy birthday!”

“Xander! My favorite flowers thank you so much!” I hugged him then he held my hand smiling. “You won’t ever leave right? Together forever right?”

The man was untying the ropes on me and I just held my head trying to get what the flashback was in confusion.

“Xander? Who is he?” I just asked myself trying to remember more but instead I got a headache so bad.

“Winston. Time’s up.”

I woke up sitting on the chair facing my laptop wincing pain of my headache. I tried to recall what just happened but instead my headache grew worse I decided to sleep it off.

I started to play connect the dots in my mind using the event that happened to me and the flashbacks that might be my memories to make everything clear to me but there is something missing.

“Hey Eliza?” Justin waved his hand in front of me trying to make me snap out of my thoughts and it worked.

It’s been a week after what happened to me in my room but I don’t even know if that was in my room actually. I kept on researching about vampires and some paranormal stuff that happened to some other kids but the more I looked deeper the more confusing it started to get.

“Gosh, you’ve been spacing out too much.” Merriam looked at me in a worried state then she continued, “Even in class, is something wrong? You can tell us everything. We’re best friends after all.”

“Yeah you’re right but it’s just my headache. I told you guys about it right?” I smiled at them then they just nodded continuing to eat lunch.

At the corner of my eye I thought I just saw the man who kidnapped me a week ago but it was just Alexander. He even stopped bugging me after the short tour of the school campus I gave him.

At the end of lunch, I decided to ask him about my past since he said on his first day that he knows me. I can’t even believe that I’m doing this but it’s the only solution I could think of.

After class, I started to look for where he is. Asking some guys he talked to the past days I discovered that during these hours he joins basketball practice.

Calmly walking to the gym I waved at the juniors who looked up to me as a model. I never knew I grew more popular these days but when I arrived at the gym I caught him shooting in style and it was hot. Wait my mind didn’t just say hot right?

I waited for them to finish practice texting my bro to go home. As I looked at the boys, Alexander was already surrounded by girls as he approached me and my heart skipped a beat as he got closer and closer until he stopped in front of me.

“We need to talk.”
