Waking up that next morning had gifted Yoongi the world's worst thumping headache, causing him to bury his head underneath his thick black duvet covers and staying there for another two hours before he eventually decided to move and brave the daylight. Why he had such a headache was beyond him, considering he had only drank about two to three drinks the night before, so he could only blame it on the loud thumping music he had to suffer through the whole night.
Throwing his thin legs over the edge of his bed, he groaned loudly as the room spun from moving to quick, and firmly planted his bare feet on the floor. It would take him a few minutes before he could stand up and start moving about, and he was once again reminded why he hated going out. Once he had deemed it safe to move, Yoongi slowly pushed himself up off of his mattress and stood upright, running a hand through his scruffy black hair and making his way over to his bedroom door. His first point of call was coffee. Yoongi could not simply function before he had consumed his morning coffee. He shuffled out of his bedroom and groaned once again as the light from his living room was brighter and caused his headache to increase. Finally making it towards his adjoined kitchen he turned straight towards his kettle and flicked it on, focusing his eyes on the water that started to boil inside the glass.
Once he had managed to blink himself awake some more, he went about grabbing a mug from one of the tall kitchen cabinets and scooped a teaspoon of coffee granules carefully into the cup, proud of himself that he didn't make a spill. Carrying out such a mundane activity seemed too hard right now, and Yoongi had made peace with the fact that he wasn't going to get any work done today.
Yoongi was a freelancer so he had the comfort of working from his own home, and decide when and where he would do his work, being his own boss and all. He leaned himself back against one of the kitchen cabinets and slowly brought his hot cup of coffee to his lips to taking a gentle sip, careful not to burn his tongue on the hot liquid. Satisfied with the delicious taste and smell, he threw his head back and sighed contently, moving his neck from side to side, trying to work out the kinks from his uncomfortable nights sleep.
It wasn't until his eyes drifted up around the room and caught sight of the clock hanging above the dishwasher did he fully awaken. Shit! It was the day of Hoseok's wedding and if he didn't get a move on soon he was going to be late, and he was best man so that wasn't an option.
He clumsily slammed his full mug of coffee down onto the counter, hissing slightly when a splash of the hot fluid flew out and landed on his hand causing him to wince, and spun round on his heel to head back to his bedroom where his suit and belongings were.
First things first, he needed a shower as he stunk of alcohol and sweat from the night before, and he grimaced when he caught a whiff of himself. Yep, definitely needed a shower. There was no way he could attend a wedding smelling or looking like he did.
Dashing into his small apartment bathroom he hurridely reached over the bath to twist the taps on whilst he messily undressed himself from his night shirt and shorts, ears listening as the water ran up through the pipes and splashed down onto the acrylic surface below.
By some miracle Yoongi managed to wash of the grime and sweat from last night in under ten minutes and quickly rushed into his bedroom, leaving a trail of water along the wooden floors as he neglected to dry himself off properly.
His hair was dripping wet causing him to shiver as it dripped down his naked back, whilst he rummaged through his underwear drawer looking for a suitable pair of briefs and socks. His suit luckily was at the front of his wardrobe, hanging neatly wrapped inside a plastic bag so he saved some time from having to search for that. Whoever's idea it was to have a bachelor party the night before a wedding was an idiot and fucked up for coming up with such a tradition, and should be punished for causing Yoongi - and probably countless other people - this mad rush and panic whilst tired and hungover.
