God, your lips are so perfect, let me kiss them

[THIRD POV]

Several days after receiving the new kitten as a gift, (Y/N) has become very attached to it. Still not giving it a name, as she was indecisive, she continued to care for it, washing it, feeding it, and cuddling with it.

The men were starting to get jealous at how much attention and time (Y/N) was giving to the kitten, so much so as they tried finish their work early just so they can try to spend time with her.

Her eyes were always on the small white companion, constantly cooing at how precious it was. It made Koutarou jealous especially, his eyes filled with envy every time he saw (Y/N) and the cat.

"I'm getting so tired of this!" Koutarou cried; he and Keiji were at his workplace, an arena where he fought at, "(Y/N) only looks at the cat! She never looks at me anymore!"

"It can't be helped Koutarou," Keiji said, taking a sip of his hot tea, "She is happy now, that is all that matters."

Even though Keiji was lowkey jealous as well, he didn't want to get in the way of his princess' happiness. He saw how much more she smiled, how much more her eyes lightened up, how much better she felt. He saw that all, and he didn't want that taken away.

Even if all of that wasn't because of him.

"We can just give them a schedule," Koutarou said, "On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday, the cat will be-"

"We're not separating the two," Koutarou clicked his tongue, "If (Y/N) is happy with the kitten, then she gets to keep it."

"Now stop making up these ruinous plans," Keiji said, "Focus on why we're here."

"Fine."

The thing is, Koutarou only ever visited the arena when he has a fight to be in. That's normally Thursday nights though, today is a Sunday.

The alliance, with everything quiet now, hasn't run into too many problems. Things like simple rude men is all they ever ran into.

But the two had something to do in this particular arena, one thing that had to be kept under the rug for now.

"Did you kill Goshiki?" Keiji asks him, opening his notebook and writing some notes down.

"I don't know," Koutarou answered, "You guys told me to hold back, and I did. But the boy looked like he was more than dead."
