A few days later:Thursday
I woke up due to my annoying alarm sound.I sat up straight on my bed,rubbed my eyes and looked at the time. 7:30...Which meant I was going to be late.
I quickly stood up and went to my closet and just randomly picked a black Mickey Mouse shirt with black pants and quickly went to my bathroom and washed my teeth and what else people do at morning.
Before I left the bathroom I looked at myself in the mirror.A girl with light brown hair,green eyes and almost pale skin.~I hope I don't look too weird in this outfit~
As I was done making myself ready I looked at the time and it was 7:45.
As I got out of my house I ran with full speed to the bus station that was a little away from us.I only had 20 min left till school would start and with the bus it takes around 10 mins to arrive at school.So basically I will get late.
I sighed and sat on one of the waiting chairs at the bus station.
I kept scolding myself why I didn't wake up earlier and how many problems I will get today and that because of me waking up late.
You know normally I wouldn't be so dramatic if I get late for class but today in the first lesson,we have our first test and on top of that, we have the test with one of the most strict teachers in the whole school and honestly I'm so scared that I will get detention because I need to pack for sleepover tomorrow and my mom told me yesterday that I have to go grocery shopping with my brother today and I really don't now how I could be able to do all that if I get detention.
I sighed again and looked at all the cars passing by me while I was waiting for the bus to come.
...
I frustratedly stood up and looked at left and right frequently to see if any bus is coming near,but no.I couldn't see anything.
The bus is now late for around 7 mins and it's getting more late for school.
Should I maybe just run to school?
I questioned myself and looked at the time:7:53. I would clearly get late with or without bus so I don't think it makes any difference if I take a bus or not because I will definitely get late.
"I guess I will just run to school."I quietly said to myself and then started running in full speed for my dear life.
...
I was now halfway the way through and I stopped for second to breath and make a 10 second break.
Looking at the time,it was 7:55 now and I only have 5 mins left till school starts.
I got out some water and drank a little of my water before I started running again even though I was still breathing heavily.
I was about to run when I suddenly heard a male voice from my side.
„Hey Lia, why are you so exhausted?"
I looked around to see where the voice came from.I spotted a classmate of mine.His name is Chris and he's actually very friendly but we aren't actually friends neither we talk a lot so I was actually quite surprised to hear him talking to me.
„Oh it's just...I'm really late for our class."
I answered him in a very exhausted and breathy voice.
„Come on I will take you to school."
He spoke from inside his car.
I raised my brows in surprise.
„Yeah I'm serious,and now just come and don't think too much about."
I nodded and went towards his car and went in it.
As soon as I entered,he started the car and drove to school and luckily there wasn't any traffic jam so he could be a little bit faster.
„Why are you taking me with you?"
I was too curious and I really wanted to know because I don't think he would actually do this.
„Because I'm a nice human?"
He let it sound like a question more than a answer.
„You are weird..."
I leaned back on my car seat.
„Says the one who just yesterday daydreamed in class too much that she actually forget to go out from class and stayed there for the whole lunch time."
He laughed.
„Shut up."
I also laughed a little bit remembering how embarrassing it was yesterday.
To make it short,I was in class looking out of the window dreaming about god knows what,and then after lunch when everyone came back from the canteen they were like all of them in the class standing in front of me looking at me me weirdly.Then the teacher came and asked me if I am sick or something and told me if I have something I should go to the nurse.Sis that was so embarrassing.
„Anyway,we arrived."
Looking outside of the window I recognized our school and looked at the time to see if we are late or actually have a few minutes left.
„We only have two minutes left that means we gotta run."
I said looking at Chris.he just nodded and then we both started running to school.
