The music blared.
Neon lights went on and off.
LOST IN THE LIGHT.
He swirled the rum in his glass.
What had it been? 2 months? 3? 5? He couldn't even think.
AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT NIGHT IT IS.

He shot his head back, consuming the rest of his drink.

The crowd partied, everyone on the dance floor as Heeseung sat on the bar stool.
His eyes started to sting, the people starting to get hazy. His body started to fall into this state it's gotten so used to.
BLURRY BODIES, BUT YOU'RE ON MY MIND.
A girl grabbed his hand, urging him to dance with her.
He only stared blankly ahead, frozen in time.

The bright lights clouded his vision.
Heeseung stumbled into the bright place, grabbing his things—trying to exit as fast as possible.
"Heeseung, wait up!"
The boy tried to shove past her.
"It's been months... Just—just let me talk and you can go back to pretending this place doesn't exist."
They sat down together on one of the metal benches that Heeseung used to love.
"I... She loved you a lot, Heeseung. The most I've ever seen someone love another—more than Suhwan loves himself!—"
"Lin, that's easy for you to say: you don't feel love. But, if you're just going to talk about her, I will see myself out."
Lin's fox-like eyes narrowed at the younger boy, "I loved her too, you know. I mean—you didn't even show up at her funeral!"
Heeseung kept his eyes on the ground, playing with a loose string on his bag. His brain thumped against his skull.
"You're drunk.?" She whispered, placing a hand on his shoulder.
His hands closed around the edge of the bench as he shook his head. "A little alcohol never hurt anyone."
Lin put her hands over her eyes, leaning forward, "Oh, Heeseung... She doesn't want you to do this to yourself. Come on, stop going out, get a good job, make her happy."
"Well she's not here is she?"
He stood up, walking away.
"And plus... I go out just so I can REFORGET."
