"Y/N?" You turned at the sound of Peter's voice. He was peeking his head in your bedroom and you assumed your mom had let him into the apartment.

"What's up?" you asked, shutting your laptop.

He shuffled into your room with his hands behind his back. It wasn't an odd thing for Peter to come over, he and you were friends for awhile until he asked you out three weeks ago. Things were going well and to you it was better than having him as just a friend. It also helped that you knew his secret about being Spider-Man, which you learned through Ned not being able to keep it a complete secret from you.

"I uh... I need some help," he said.

You raised an eyebrow. "With what?"

Finally, he brought his hands out from behind his back and showed you the predicament he'd gotten himself into. It took everything in you to not laugh at the sight in front of you. Peter's hands were covered in what looked like web fluid and scraps of fabric with pieces of metal. You noticed the web fluid got into his hair as well. Getting up from your chair you made him sit in it instead as you went to grab a wet wash cloth.

"What the hell happened?" you asked.

He looked up sheepishly. "I tried to alter my webs and then put it into the suit. Didn't really go as well as I'd hoped."

Taking his right hand, you began to get the webs free from his skin. "Let me guess it exploded."

      He nodded. "It exploded."

The laugh escaped you, but you couldn't help it. Peter was a genius, you knew that for a fact, but sometimes he didn't think things through all the way and it was cute. He laughed with you knowing it was a mistake and that seemed to only make the two of you laugh harder.

"Did you contact anyone for help on updating the suit?" you asked, finally getting one hand free and moving onto the other one.

"I left Mr. Stark a voicemail," he responded. "He probably won't answer for a while."

"Call him again," you said reaching for your own phone. He took it, sliding his palm against yours before he tried to move away. Only his palm wouldn't detach from yours.

"Very funny Pete." You tugged on your hand, but it wouldn't release and it was then you realized that the web fluid was stronger than you both thought.

Peter tried to tug again which almost ended up with you in his lap. "This is not happening," he said. "Why is it doing this?"

You stood carefully pulling him up with you. The phone was still stuck in-between your hands and it would be useless to call anyone with it. His other hand couldn't grab things, because you hadn't cleaned it yet, but you figured it would be better for him to keep his hands to himself. You looked at Peter as he tried to figure out a solution for the problem and noticed the dark circles underneath his eyes. He'd been working on school tirelessly and being a hero on the side.

"Hey," you said bringing his attention to you. "Being stuck to you isn't too bad."

That made the stern expression on his face vanish as a smile appeared. "No?"

You shook your head. "Nah. I'd prefer you over anyone else."

He led you out to the living room where you searched for a different phone. Peter told you the number to call and waited anxiously for a response, but it went straight to voicemail. You dialed again three more times yet the same thing happened once again. When you got ready to dial a fourth time Peter shook his head and told you to leave the phone there.

"Come on," he said as he pulled you out the door.

"Where are we going?" you asked.

You both got outside quickly as he hailed a cab. "The facility."

That shocked you. Peter never took you to the Avengers facility, probably because you weren't an Avenger. You couldn't say you weren't curious about the place Peter hung out at after school, but at this moment you wished it was under different circumstances. You were wearing sweatpants, one of Peter's hoodies that had a math joke on it, and a messy hairstyle. If only you had the sense to change into something more put together.

"Are you sure it's okay? They won't get mad?" you asked, running your free hand through your tousled hair.

Peter glanced at you. "Why would they be mad?"

You shrugged. "I'm not one of them Pete."

"Yeah but I'm dating you," he said. "They were going to meet you eventually."

Peter had told Mr. Stark about you on multiple occasions and told him about how you were smarter than him. The Avengers definitely knew who you were. He wanted to bring you sooner, but with school and hero duties, he didn't get the chance to do it. You were someone important in his life, always had been, and he wanted you to be a part of both of his worlds.

      "They were?" you asked.

He smiled as you both clambered into the cab. "Of course. You're important to me Y/N. I want them to know you."

Peter always made your heart flutter without even trying too. Whether it was the way he looked at you as though you were the most beautiful thing he was seeing, or when he did little things to make you happy. All of it made you feel as nervous as you were meeting him for the first time. He wanted to kiss you, but didn't know if any of the webbing that exploded got residue on his lips. He'd rather not show up connected to you in any way other than by the hand.

You followed him into the large facility suddenly feeling so small in comparison. This was where superheroes lived and you were standing in the center of it. Peter bumped his shoulder against yours seeing the awestruck look on your face.

      "Pretty cool huh?" he asked.

      "Definitely."

He took you to a lab that was bigger than the size of your apartment and it was then you noticed several people standing around talking. You stood there gob smacked at the sight of Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, and some other people you recognized but could not for the life of you recall their names. Peter laughed lightly and brought you over to the group.

"Y/N this is Mr. Stark, Mr. Rogers, Miss Romanoff, and Mr. Barton." He introduced each person and you noticed that several of them cringed at being called Mr. or Miss.

"This who you're going steady with Queens?" Steve asked. Peter's ears were tinged with red at the question.

      "Yes," he said.

"Pretty," Nat responded before turning away.

Tony was the last one to speak up. "What's wrong kid?"

In response Peter held up his hand connected to yours with a cell phone still stuck in-between. Tony's eyes widened as everyone else either snorted or chuckled at the sight.

      "It exploded," Peter said.

Tony nodded. "Miss Widow call Banner about your problem, he will be able to help with the biological part of it. I need to figure out how to get the kid unstuck."

Nat rolled her eyes at the Miss Widow nickname but left with the rest of the team until it was just Tony left with Peter and you. This was probably the oddest way to meet famous team of heroes, but then you remembered you were dating Peter Parker. Nothing was done normally when it came to him and even though half of the time it embarrassed you. You loved every minute of it, because it was Peter and you wouldn't have him any other way.
