You fascinated me

As the Raven haired boy sits at the same tree again staring off in the distance, but had his eye on a particular someone.
That someone was Y/n, he didn't understand her, she wasn't the easiest to read like how he could read everyone else.
He wanted to tell her the truth about this farm, but he couldn't bring himself to do it.

Cloaked in shadows and secrecy

He enjoyed seeing your eyes full of joy when Y/n played with the kids and how the kids would be so happy to play with her.
He wanted to continue seeing you smile, because it also brought him joy. He loved it so much. He loved you. Did he tell you? No.

The beauty of a broken angel

"Hey ray!" The h/c girl called out for the boy and waved at him to make him look over
"Do you wanna come and join tag?!" The h/c shouts again so he could hear
Ray simply chuckled and responded back to the girl
"I'd rather stay here. Go have your fun!"
"Okay!" The girl smiled, the smile wasn't like anything else he's seen.. it was the smile of a broken girl.

I ventured carefully

Ray's POV:

I saw mom talking with Y/n, I wanted to eavesdrop but it wouldn't be right.
Do I tell her now?
I really don't know I went to Norman and Emma who were at the library
I also saw Gilda and Don there
"Heya Ray! Do you think you're ready to discuss the plan?" Emma cheerfully says to me
"Sure" I say, after all I need something to distract me..

Afraid of what you thought I'd be

"Morning Ray!" Y/n said cheerfully
"Morning Y/n, your actually early for once" I say to her going to go ruffle her hair, and kissed her forehead.
"Um.. W-what was that for ray?!" Y/n blushed as she started going off at me
"Geez, I was just teasing ya calm down" I laugh at her
As Norman and Emma watches from a far, they happily smile at each other, glad that Ray and Y/n do get on.

But pretty soon, I was entangled

"Alright you two, Ray stop teasing Y/n" Isabella says walking over to the two and patting their head.
"Alright mom." Ray says while dragging Y/n along with him so she can help him set up all the food and plates.

You take my by the hand..
I question who I am..

3rd POV

Ray sat there reading his book, what else was he meant to do? He was planning on telling Y/n about the whole truth of this place, but Norman went and took her away

Ray thought to himself.. how was he going to protect you, if he can't even tell you the truth.

Here the four are, Y/n trying to beat Norman in a game of chess while Emma watches intensively while Ray reads his book and looking up from his book from time to time.

"Awe.. I lost again" Y/n sighed in defeat
"You were so close Y/n!" Emma exclaims
"She is right," Norma says giving one of his soft smiles
"Huh.." Ray just says and looks over
Y/n had one of her bright smiles again, she was truly happy here at grace field..

The trio tense up.
Did she know?

"Noticed what?" Norman's voice shook a bit
"You've all been very distant.." Y/n says sadly
"Awe, Y/n! You should've said sooner" Emma says tackling y/n into a hug
