Chapter Two: The Sneak Out

The next morning Keely woke up with the best plan ever. She was going to make her mom a special breakfast to make her happy. Every time Keely would want something she would do something for her mom and that would garantee her to say yes. Keely quietly got out of bed and texted Renae her plan. Then she quickly and quietly snuck down the stairs. Thankfully he dad was already gone so she didn't have to deal with any of his questions. Keely got out all of the ingredieants she would need to make eggs, bacon and pancakes. The first thing she did was put the bacon on a cookie sheet and stick it in the oven. Then she started on the pancakes. Even though she has made this meal a million times she still ended up doing something wrong. She left the pancake in the pan for too long and it started to burn. Keely grabbed the pan and ran outside with her golden retriever Scoutt right at her heels. 

When Keely got outside she set the pan in the grass hoping it wouldn't catch on fire. She ran behind the house and grabbed the hose. She turned it on and sprayed the pan until it was done smoking. She sat in the grass breathing hard and looked at Scoutt and asked, "Why does this always happen to me when I try and cook something?"

Scoutt looked  at her an tilted his head as if to sayI don't know, I'm just a dog. Keely grabbed the pan, put it in the trash and went to finish breakfast. This time she made sure to watch the pancakes extra carefully. After she was completely done she grabbed two plates and put the food on the table. She got some orange juice for herself and some hot coffee for her mom After everything was set on the table she ran to her moms room to wake her up. When she got to he moms room she started jumping up and down on her bed yelling, "Mom get up! I have a surprise for you! Hurry up!"

Keely practically dragged her mom out of bed and down the stairs.  When they got to the bottom of the stairs Keely stopped her mom and made her cover her eyes. Keely led her to the table and had her sit down. When her mom uncovered her eyes she couldn't believe what her daughter had done for her. She gave Keely a bug hug and sat down to enjoy her meal. After she finished the delicious meal she went upstairs to get ready. Today was a very exciting day, Keely and her mom were actually going shopping together. They rarely ever do it  because her mom always has to work. Keely cleaned up the dishes and went to get ready herself.

After an hour Keely and her mom were ready to go shopping. They hopped in the car and drove off to the mall. They jammed out to all of their favorite songs together. Keely got some very cute outfits and some things for school. On their way home Keely decided to take her chance and ask her mom about sleeeping over at Renaes. She hoped shewoud say yes, but she also knew what her mom thought about Renaes mother. Keely looked at hermom and asked in the sweetest voice, "Mom can I please have a sleepover at Renaes tonight?"

"Oh so thats why why you made me a special breakfast," Her mom replied wait for Keely to node then she continued, "You know how I feel about Renaes mom. Shes not very careful. Especially with your birthfather out of jail and wanting to take you back. Why can't you guys just have it at our house?"

"Mom we always have it at our house and we want to change it up for once in our lives. I will be super careful and I will let you download a tracker app on my phone. Mom please let me go!" Keely pleaded.

"Okay fine Keely you can go. I want you to get on your phone right now and download life360 and join me and dads circle. I will send you a link for it," her mom finally answered with a sigh.

Keely quickly got on her phone and downloaded the life360 app. She clicked the link her mom sent her and got into the circle. Keely quickly texted Renae and told her that she could have a sleepover. Then it clicked in Keelys mind that she had made a mistake. If she had life360 on her phone it would show that she snuck out and she would get in a lot of touble. Keely couldn't just leave her phone at the house because then she wouldn't be able to text her cush that she was going to meet him. But then Keely came up with a great plan to make sure she could meet him and not get caught. All she had to do was give Renae Ashers number and Renae would text him where to meet them and all the important details. Keely couldn't wait for this plan to work out.
