Chapter 3: The Death

When the girls got pretty far away from the house they started celebrating. They actually got out of the house without getting caught. Keely couldn't believe it, she had never done something this bad before. The only thing she did was talk back to a teacher and she barely got in trouble for that. If she got caught doing this she would be in so much trouble. Her mom would probably ground her till she graduated.

Everything was going fine until they started walking up to the park. First they got lost and couldn't find their way and when they finally did Keely saw that black car again. This time Keely could kind of see who was in the car. It kind of looked like the picture she saw of her birth dad from the news. But it couldn't be, she thought, he's in jail. Wait it could be him he did break out. Oh my gosh, this could be really bad.

Keely quickly pushed those thoughts out of her head. She didn't want to think about that. She wanted this night to be perfect. Maybe I will even get a kiss, Keely thought. When Keely saw Asher her heart fluttered. She hadn't seen him in so long she forgot how perfect he really was. His perfect brunette hair, perfect teeth, and his amazing body structure. She couldn't believe how amazing he is. Keely started running towards him and he did the same. When they got close they embraced in a deep loving hug. (Dont worry they have seen eachother multiple times before this isn't one of those they just met and are deepky in love things)

Renae didn't know what to do. She felt very awkward just standing there so she decided to go swing by herself and let Keely and Asher talk. Asher took Keelys hand and led her over to a bench where they sat and talked.

"Keely it's so good to see you. You are more beautiful every time I see you. Your hair, when it blows in the wind it looks like a disney princess, it's that perfect. Your eyes look so beautiful in the moonlight. That's why I'm not going to regret asking a question. Will you... will you be my... my girlfriend," Asher asked.

Keely was so stunned but then she stuttered out, "Y-yes!"

Then something happened she never thought would have happened Asher kissed her! It was the most amazing thing in her life! His lips were so smooth it felt like she was kissing a newborn's head. His arms wrapped around her body and his fingers ran through her long blonde hair. Keely wrapped her arms around his body and felt his strong muscles. Asher moved his hands up and down her back, feeling every inch of her. Keely ran her fingers through his hair and up and down his back. She loved him so much she couldn't believe he actually kissed her. It was the most perfect moment until Asher's phone went off. He let go of Keely and answered it. When he got off the phone he looked at Keely and said,"I'm sorry but my dad figured out I was gone and is really mad. I have to get home quick,"

Asher gave her a goodbye kiss and ran off. Keely sat down on the bench and had a dreamy look on her face and her cheeks were as red as a tomato because she was blushing so much. She was in her own world only thinking of Asher and their perfect kiss. Keely didn't even notice Renae walk up. Renae was so confused about what happened she sat down by Keely and she didn't even notice. Renae finally made Keely snap out of it by saying "Keely tell me what happened!"

Keely looked at Renae and started telling her about what happened. Keely still couldn't believe she got her first kiss. The way he wrapped his arms around her. It felt amazing. He brushed Keely's hair out of her face and kissed her with so much affection. Ugh her heart still wasn't done racing even 20 minutes after it happened. Renae was so happy for her, she couldn't believe her best had gotten her first kiss before her. Well, she thought, there is a reason for that. Before Renae could finish her thought though something very bad almost happened!

While Keely and Renae were walking down the street Renae saw a car that drove by that looked exactly like her mother's car. Renae pulled Keely behind a bush and told her, "Keely I just saw my moms car. We need to be careful or we are going to get caught."

Keely shook her head understanding while Renae peered over the bush to see where her mom was going. She saw her mom's navy blue ford SUV waiting at the read light to turn right. Renae thought that was odd because if you turn right up there it goes into a dark alley that only sketchy people go into. Why would my mom go down that ally. She always tells me not to because bad things can happen, Renae thought, She always said that people who sell drugs hangout down there... unless she is getting drugs! Renae couldn't believe her mom. She thought when she hid the other ones she would finally stop, but no she had to go get more. Renae looked over at Keely and motioned for her to follow her. Renae slowly walked to where her mom was and every time a person would look over at them, Keely and Renae would duck behind a bush really fast so they wouldn't get caught. When they finally got to the alley way the girls could hear Renae's mom say, "Please I am begging you give the drugs. My other ones have gone missing. I will pay you however much you want!"

" You have to give me 500 dollars right now and I will give this bag that should last you 1-2 months top," The person responded with a very deep voice.

Renae's mom opened her wallet and carefully counted five hundred dollars and when she was done she got the bag from the seller and went back to her car and got in. Keely and Renae ran away and jumped behind a bush before her mom could see them. After Renaes mom was gone Keely and Renae ran back to the house. They snuck around back and snuck back throught the window. They climbed up some stairs to Renaes window and jumped through. When they got through they jumped on Renaes bed and were waiting for th garage door to open. When it finally did they sat quietly on the bed while Renaes mom passed by th door, she was being very quite just incase the girls were sleeing, which they weren't. When her mom finally closed her bedroom door Keely looked at Renae and said, "Renae, Asher kissed me..."

Renae didn't know what to say she was shocked, she even forgot about her mom and the drugs. Keely was blushing so bad she looked like a tomato again. Finally Renae blurted out, "Keely I have something to tell," She waited for Keely to look up before continuing, "I'm lesbian, I like girls and I have known for the last two or 3 years."

"Renae, why didn't you tell me?" Keely stuttered out.

"Keely I'm so sorry I didn't tell you. I didn't know how, I thought you would think of me differently than youthink of me now," Renae said, her voice shackey.

"Renae I would never think different of you. I love you no matter what gender you like, nothing could change that," Keely responded with tears in her eyes. 

The two girls sat there, hugging and crying for 2 hours before they both finally fell asleep. 

The next morning when the girls woke up the house was really quite. They went down stairs and got breakfast then sat in the living room watching Harry potter and talking. After about two hours it was almost time for Keely to leave so Renae went to check on her mom to see if she could drive her home. Renae slowly walked up the stairs and opened mom door. "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH," Renae screamed when she found her mom laying on the floor white as a ghost. Renae started shaking her mom to get up. 

When Keely heard Renae scream she jumped over the back of the couch and ran up the stairs to Renaes moms room. Whe she got there and saw Renaes mom laying on the floor like that she quickly grabbed out her phone and called 911. It only took the paramedics and police 10 minutes to get there. While they were examining Renaes mom Renae called her aunt and she came over. Keelyalso texted her mom that she would be late to coming.

Finally after 30 minutes, 30 long minutes, the paramedics came out and told them the sad news that Renaes mom had died. Renae turned to Keely and cried on her sholder. Then the police came and asked questions and searched the house. After everyone had left the house Renaes aunt made dinner and then Keely had to leave and walk home. Renae walked her half way and when they got there Renae said, "Keely text me when you get home please."

Keely shoke her head and started walking the rest of the way home. Finally after 30 minutes Renae got a text from Keely saying that she had gotten home safely. Renae finally went to bed at 1 am dreading the next days events.
